Animal Kingdom Villas

At the resort we usually do a breakfast or dinner never lunch. Any recommendations on where to have breakfast?
I just did the Sanaa breakfast a couple weeks ago. Nice and quiet. The banana brûlée French Toast is what dreams are made of-so good!

We often eat dinner at Sanaa on our arrival day. It is convenient and relaxing, and the food is very good. I like the butter chicken and lentils, but many other combinations are good, too. My spouse says the steak is very good, and I am not surprised to read about the enthusiasm for the lamb chops. The bread service is outstanding. We get the assorted salads when there are more than two of us at dinner.

Depending on the time of year when you are going, you may not be able to see the animals at Sanaa dinners. However, you can see them at breakfast, and it is an experience I highly recommend. On our last trip, we saw giraffes, zebras, crested cranes, and a tortoise at breakfast. The tortoise was down the hallway just a little. I believe we also saw wildebeests and Ankole cattle, although the memory is getting a bit hazy. Breakfasts are good and--for Disney dining--relatively inexpensive.

The breakfast and dinner buffets at Boma are excellent, as well. It is a challenge not to overeat. I have finally managed that after many years.

We ate at Jiko on our last trip. Both the food and the service were outstanding. It took a while to reopen after Covid. In my opinion, it is even better than before.

I will have to ask- would you rather do a Tusker House breakfast and Sanaa dinner or a Sanaa breakfast and a Tusker House dinner?

I would do Tusker breakfast, Sanaa dinner.

One big reason to go to Sanaa is the bread service---lunch and dinner only. Conversely, the character breakfasts are slightly less exorbitant, price-wise.
Thanks. That was my original idea. Looking forward to the bread service.

We love that!!! We book a lunch or dinner at Sanaa almost every trip!

We've also done breakfast at Boma - which was really good, but a lot of food if you're heading off to do roller coasters and stuff. I'd try to set it for a pool or departure day.

We haven't tried Jiko yet.

Interesting question, Tom1944. We have gone to Tusker House for breakfast, Sanaa for dinner, and Sanaa for breakfast, but I don't think we've had dinner at Tusker House so far. So it's hard to give a clear-cut answer. All three experiences we have had were great. The dinner menu at Tusker House looks good. I think I would lean a bit toward Tusker House for breakfast and Sanaa for dinner, just because the table service diinner at Sanaa is a little more relaxing our group after a day in the park than buffet service. Having said that, we have had buffet dinners other places part of the time. They have been extremely good, but they do tend to be a little more hectic. Your schedule in the park would have an effect on your decision as well.

All 3 that you are looking at are very good and very different. I would consider booking Sanaa when it is still light out as you may be able to see the Savannah from inside. we found the servers at Jiko to be very helpful and knowledgeable.
