All I want is to find decent food inside Magic Kingdom

For our upcoming trip we're going to be spending more time in Magic Kingdom than anywhere else. We have a Skipper Canteen reservation booked as it seems 75% of people love it and 25% of people hate it and I can live with those odds. Aside from that, I want to figure out where in Magic Kingdom we can eat and hopefully get decent food.

I understand I can go to one of the nearby resorts and get amazing food at their restaurants. I'm focused inside Magic Kingdom and probably quick service.

After having discovered Pecos Bill a few years ago I assumed that I would always eat there at every trip to Magic Kingdom. Late last year I discovered it just wasn't the same. Sort of okay, but no longer amazing.

So what are decent food options now? I'm hearing Columbia Harbor House, Sleepy Hollow, and the rolls in Adventureland. If that's it, I'll work with it. Is there anything else decent? Is Pecos Bill still meh?

Thanks!

Me too! Skipper Canteen is my go-to. Love the catchapas, cheese bread, and fried chicken dish. Agree the options in MK are not great (such a shame). Recently dined at Be Our Guest. The food was fine but gosh was it expensive to be sitting in what felt like a cafeteria.

Sleepy Hollow waffles are a great treat. As are the egg rolls in Adventureland.

MK QS is basically burgers, hot dogs fries, chicken tenders, flat breads and Mexican at Pecos Bill.

Agree on Columbia Harbor House. We really like it. Sitting upstairs overlooking the passageway is great for people watching.

Love Skipper Canteen. Ask to sit at the butterfly table. And check out all the cool stuff on the walls and all the hilarious book titles.

For burgers we like Cosmic Rays.

For TS we also enjoy the Plaza Restaurant.

CHH is the only place we will eat at MK.

I was a huge fan of Pecos Bill, but I agree that it's not the same. We like Columbia Harbour House.

Liberty Tree Tavern has great traditional American food served family style unless someone wants the plant-based option. They'll get an individual meal in that case or might eat family style if others choose plant-based.

We consider LTT a good, reliable TS.

We liked Skippers Canteen a lot and Columbia Harbor House was good for QS. We also enjoyed the fruit and Nutella waffle at Sleepy Hallow for a snack. But if you have the time to visit any of the resorts for food Steakhouse 71 and Kona Cafe were two of our favorites. Steakhouse 71 especially. The food was quick, hot and really tasty.

Snack: Sleepy Hollow
QS: CHH
TS: Skipper.

That's about it for decent food inside of MK

Now, if you're willing to jump on The Monorail, the restaurants at CR, Poly and GF are all really good. But, of course, you have to take time away from the park to go there.

Sadly the worst park to eat in both quick and table service. The one park I find myself packing a sandwich because I can't stand two meals there. Throwing good money after bad. All the quick serve is going to be quite basic, so honestly we pick based on atmosphere we want. If Columbia Harbor upstairs is open, we tend to eat there for the quieter atmosphere.

Magic Kingdom is the worst park for food in my opinion, both QS and table service. Skipper is the least bad table service but I still think it's only meh and not worth the money. Whereas Tony's is one of the worst restaurants on property, not just at MK. I usually leave the park and go to one of the monorail resorts if I want to do a table service restaurant as they're WAY better than anything in the park.

I don't think any of the quick service places are good except for maybe Sleepy Hollow. Everything else is mediocre to bad. For quick service I do Pecos Bill's or Columbia Harbor House. Pinocchio Village Haus is the worst quick service in the park - almost inedible flatbreads.

In addition to Sleepy Hollow for a snack/QS meal, I like Friar's Nook, although seating can be a challenge. We like to share sausage and gravy tots and donut holes for breakfast. We've also enjoyed a bratwurst and the mac and cheese.
