I am taking my Aunt to Disneyland for a day, two weeks before her 90th birthday, at the end of March. She is agile and adventurous, but it would still be a big day.

I think me pushing a rental wheel chair would be better, as I know where to go, and how the crowds move. She can walk and transfer to ride vehicles with minimal help.

A rental scooter would be new for her, and might be too scary driving around people, especially at night. She hasn’t been to Disneyland for a very long time.

Thoughts?
Thank you!

Especially at night.... seniors have a hard time with night... being the end of the day exhaustion.. strange hotel bed.. daily habits....wheel chair will put you in the moment with her and allow for movement of her legs

I took my mom to DLR when she was 80. She didn't really have mobility issues, but walking so much was not something she could do so we rented a scooter. She HATED it and honestly, I think it was a danger to everyone around her . We ended up returning it and just renting a wheelchair. Everyone was much, much happier but I have to say that I discovered that DLR was not as flat as I thought. My arms were aching, LOL! But to be fair, I'm on the small side and apparently my arms don't get much of a workout on a regular basis.
