2025 Moonlight magic

Early entry typically begins 2 hours prior to regular park closing, so 4 pm for a 6 pm close.
The event itself typically starts 30 minutes after regular park closing, so it will probably run from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
Awesome. Thank you!

Are the moonlight magic events at the waterpark fun? We're gonna be in town for one of the Typhoon Lagoon events and were curious about if it is worth it for the event, or just stay at the parks.

We have done the Typhoon Lagoon events the past 2 years and have really enjoyed them. No sunscreen needed, plenty of chairs, Members Only so didn’t worry much about leaving phones under (free) towels and clothes. Unlimited Snacks and soft drinks. Short lines for rides.

Quick update: General Registration this morning: 10/8/24. Had a few browsers open but best we got was 451. Got in 14 minutes after open. Had member number handy but was saved in my browser. Minor glitch: (using Firefox Browser) Once I selected my date, party size was missing. Refreshed browser window and thankfully it appeared. On-screen and first e-mail Confirmation(s) did not list my selected date. I clicked the modify the reservation (NOT Cancel) said I was changing the count (I didn’t) and got a new confirmation that had a proper date. For fun my wife opened a new browser at 11:14 (ET) and she would have been 3534 in line. At 11:33 checked and December was limited. 11:38 December Closed and November limited.

Hi.

I have tickets for October 24 Moonlight Magic at AK, which closes at 6:00 pm.
Although I am AP, my sister is not and does not have a park ticket for this day.

First, do I need to make a park ressie for this this day?
Second, what time can we arrive to AK to be let in without my sister have a park ticket.

Also, has anyone been before and can tell me do you think we will be able to do Avatar and Safari during this time?

We are staying at BWVs.

Thank you.

If you as an AP holder want to enter DAK prior to early admission, you would need a park reservation unless it's a "good to go" day.

With a 6 pm closing, early entry for those without park admission should begin at 4 pm (maybe a few minutes prior).

Thank you so much.

If I want to go to Epcot in the morning, do I still need an AK ressie for the 4:00 pm arrival?

And, I am reconfirming, for the DVC Moonlight Magic, my sister does not need a park ticket for this day.
She is on my ressie for our DVC stay.

Thank you.

You can only have one park reservation per day. After entering Epcot, you can hop to DAK at anytime.

For the MM event, once you get your event wristbands outside the park entrance, you can enter using just that wristband.

Are you park-hoping to AK or do you mean 4pm (estimate) arrival for Moonlight Magic?

If your sister isn't in AK with you, then you'll have to exit so your whole party enters MM at the same time.

I think it's once per park, but not sure if they check.

I'm planning to be in Orlando next year at the end of August, start of September, so I might get into the DHS one... which would be my third, always at the same park. I whish they'd shuffle things around a bit.
how is moonlight magic at DHS? newbie owner here with a sept 1 trip!

The first I attended was before Toy Story land opening, so there wasn't much to do attraction wise. And yet, the ToT was a walk-on all night, they even kept the pre-show room open so I was able to loop it 6 times in the first half hour!
Similar thing 2 years ago, but the pre-show was kept working. If you like ToT you'll be delighted by the event.
Of the other attractions, everything else was busier at the beginning, as you would expect, but later at night lines were almost non-existant. I closed the night with RotR and I did it 3 times in a row with no wait! For the Millennium Falcon I had a vehicle by myself.
The only exception being Slinky Dog; for some reason, Toy Story land was the busiest area and until I was there the line never dropped much (I don't know at closure).
As with all events, if you're into characters M&G there will be quite a few rare ones. I cannot remember all of them because I don't care much, but I saw the Ewoks, I think, in the ST line, which were cute. Most characters will have a substantial wait, so it's a big opportunity cost and I prefer rides. But of course rides are open all the times, while this can be the only chance to meet some rare one.
You get three snacks credits, that can be used also during the mix-in period before the park closes to the public, which is the smart thing, so you don't waste precious party time and have the full park to chose from, any snack on the DDP is available. Later only a few places are open and lines can be long. And unlimited mickey bars and fruit bars ice creams all night. No free drinks, you have to use a snack credit.
All in all, a very fun event. Everyone is relaxed and cheerful, there is a lot of great energy all around.

I will be there with family and friends for the January date, we have 3 reservations under my DVC account. I believe I saw before I can make reservations for everyone traveling with me even in different rooms, is that correct? Has anyone done this before? I assume I have to make one at a time referencing each reservation number, or do they just ask for membership number?

You just enter the membership number holding the reservation and total number of guests for all the rooms.

The system will know you have three rooms.

We are still new-ish to DVC and moonlight magic. We have reservations for Jan-DHS and Feb at VDH, is it likely they will go live at the same time?
