2 Different Discounts at HRH ?

We are going to the HRH in late August and got an Ent. rate of $134 for the first two nights and $176 for the second two (Fri. and Sat.). I just got my Fan Club card and called to check the rate, and it was $164. She changed my reservation for the last two nights to the $164 Fan Club rate. The reservation now reads that we have 2 reservations with a check-out and check-in on the third day (now with the new rate). She told me she did not think we had to switch rooms, she did link it. She suggested we reminded them when we first check in that we are staying for the four nights. Has anyone ever done this? I like to save the extra dollars, but it would not be worth it if we had to pack up and check out and back in again and possibly not have a room for some of the day.
