My 12 year old really likes anywhere.
He like American Eagle, Old Navy, some GAP (but not much--there is an acronym for GAP that the kids use), Kohl's, Aeropostale some vintage wear at Goodwill. I can also find Abercrombie at Goodwill as well.
He also likes some stuff at Steve and Barry's.
Fortunately, he's not big on clothes being an issue just yet though.
I didn´t know AE carried kids sizes?
LOL.
Thanks for the help guys. We´ll definately be shopping for DS when we come over to the US in May. Target has a lot of cute summer outfits for girls but not so much for boys his age. He really isn´t that much into GAP but we´ll definately give AE, Aeropostale and Abercrombie a try.![]()
Sure they do...or maybe it just depends upon the size of the kid.
My DD12 is 5'6" & 115 pounds.
Her winter jacket is an AE "Large".
Every top she has from that store is a "Large".
We don't buy her jeans there...she prefers Aeropostale for those.[/QUOTE
DS is quite a bit smaller. Just over 5' & 85 pounds. He almost always needs a "slim fit" in pants but we´ll definately check them out.
Do you have an H & M near you? My son likes some of the things there as well. Some of it is a bit too tailored for him, but some of the shirts are ok.
They have European sizing, so thats a bit tricky for me (as an American).
My son shops like this. He knew he needed two pairs of jeans and hoodie last week.
He walked into Steve and Barry's picked two pair of jeans up adn one hoodie and was done in about 5 minutes. He didn't want to browse or look at anythign else.
My son, who just turned 13 last month likes American Eagle, and he likes Hollister, too. He wears mostly Levis jeans, though. He likes to wear football jerseys and hoody sweatshirts a lot (especially the college ones).
I bought him some cool T-shirts in the men's department at Target, too. He likes funny T-shirts or T-shirts with the names of bands on them (old bands like AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, etc.).

Aeropostale would be a good fit for jeans for her. They have a size 0 and 00 (even smaller). They also have regular fit and short. This is the only thing my DD13 could wear a couple years ago. She was about the height/weight of your daughter and we couldn't find slims in sizes above 14 --- Their prices are very reasonable too (especially the sales -- have often gotten jeans for $15)

Actually it´s HIM. DS not DD
But thanks for your advice. We´ll definately go to Aeropostale, his dad usually buys stuff there when we´re in the US anyway![]()
