Disney's POLYNESIAN VILLAGE RESORT Information & Questions

We are going in Nov, so if you could I would really appreciate it! the DH is itching for a new tiki mug :)

Okay… reporting back on TS wait times. Party of 2 each time.

On Monday 9/6 we got on the list at 3:30. Quoted 1.5 hours- Called at 4:45.

Wednesday 9/8. Tried to get on the list at 10:30pm. We were told if we weren’t called by 11:20 we would not be. That’s when they stop letting people in.

Today (9/10) got on the list at 8 pm. Quoted 1.5 hours. Not called until 10:15.

We may try again tomorrow. But the list seems to usually be 1-2 hours. And definitely try to get on the list before 10. Hope this helps!

Thank you so much, instead of going in nov we are going for my bday in oct, arriving on a sat with no park plans so I am hoping to get there by 330/4 to get on the list.

Are masks required inside the hotels again? Wanted to get some photos inside for a celebration. Without masks of course.

Thanks

I would think if its not crowded abd you are off to side you could take a few maskless photos, just be sure to remask before moving thru lobby. I was able to in Jan when masks were required outside too, always being sure to wait for quiet moments or stay off ro the side

Does anyone know if the 1 bedroom suites are bookable yet? No matter what date I put in it says unavailable.
They are bookable but since there are so few, they booked up really quickly once the videos of the reburb were posted.

Are there photos of the completed DVC studio refurb rooms? I'm just getting caught up here, but we check in to a Poly studio in late October. Wondering what it will look like!

NVM, found the thread! I'm assuming odds are great that we'll have an updated studio for our Oct 21 check in?

Hey all - thought I would share about our trip that was from 8/3-8/12 at the Poly. I don't do huge write ups but thought I would share our experiences there.

We stayed in Fiji, 2304.
Pros: The standard view was gorgeous - looked out on the walkway and beach looking towards the GF. Loved the refurbished rooms for the most part (see the cons). The boats coming and going so close to this building was a huge plus due to the monorail being down. Two nights I walked from MK through the GF to our building and it was a really nice walk. I actually beat the kids back who chose to wait for the boats that were held up by the electric light parade. No problems with delays with our mobile order at both Captain Cooks and Kona.

Cons: The only issue with the refurb was the flooring and we were split on this. I was fine with it because I feel like it is cleaner, but my kids prefer carpet. While I have no problem with the soaps and hair stuff not being in the individual bottles, the holder was broken so the bottles were not in it right. Lastly, getting our luggage to our room was quite a pain with the entry doors to the GCH being closed still. We prefer to move it ourselves since in the past it took a while for it to get to our room and getting the luggage cart around to the rear of GCH took away from the excitement upon first arrival. Not a huge thing in the big scheme of things but do keep it in mind.

This is our favorite resort and still is! For all those having upcoming trips, enjoy!!!
Were you in a studio or a regular room with 2 queen beds? And did you have a balcony? I'm debating switching my reservation to the Poly. It's my dream resort and I REALLY want to stay there.

That building is on the resort side FYI. Check the map for location.

For resort rooms the 1st has a patio, 2nd the doors just open/no balcony and the 3rd has a balcony. Dvc side all 3 floors have an outdoor space.

2 queens.
