Another DP from a reputable Redditor who did not get and was told no SUB attached to his (5th) Citi AA biz card approved from a public link —

Tagging @SouthFayetteFan (who’s probably already aware).

Tagging @SouthFayetteFan, to add to the DPs, DH got the denial letter in the mail yesterday:

Thank you for contacting our Customer Service Team.

Special offers aren't available when an existing account in the same product has been approved or closed within 24 months.

Terms and conditions state Acquisition Special Offers will not apply if customers have existing accounts in the same product approved or closed within the last 24 months.

If you have questions, blah blah blah.

That sounds pretty final to me. Since Citi is onto him, I'm thinking I may have reset his 24 month clock too, with this recent non-bonused approval for the Biz AA. :(
I'm thinking I might as well cancel both of his CitiBiz AA cards if the counter is reset anyway.

This is exactly what happened to me on the phone with them. I also kept asking for supervisors or anyone in the department that could give me actual answers to what they wanted, and got no where. It's so ridiculous. Hope you get a response after you fax in. After I faxed in and called to check on it as I was told to do, I was then told that them telling me to fax was wrong and that I had to email instead. I'm still waiting to hear back after emailing in my personal tax returns. My online account still lets me log in. I've also received no communication from them other than the phone calls that I initiated after having my card declined. All so very frustrating.
You need to find a higher up’s email. Like C suite level. And Twitter. Keep at it.

So I missed my window to lower some Chase CL's after I got approved for the CIP. (guess I was so excited to get the holy grail of churning I just forgot the rest of the plan.) I'm thinking of going for the SW personal card before the 60k offer expires, which is before my next round of statement dates. I'd like to confirm that it was Chase that would report to your CR out of cycle if you paid your balance to $0?
I don't have much on the cards I'm looking to lower so I can pay off the current charges with the statement charges if that'll adjust my reported CL's too. Just have to remember to do it this time before the offer expires

Yes, but it takes a few days from payment in full posting to it reporting to your CRs (along with the lowered CL).

We decided to see Aladdin tonight kind if last minute. Just got back popcorn:: We both really enjoyed it and thought it was way better than we were expecting. I'd agree it reminded me of the stage show with the costumes and everything, though I wish they'd used some of those songs too. DH is ranking it as his favorite live action currently.
I have not seen the original (practically a shunnable offense right.) but everyone predicted the Genie would be a bad choice. Glad to know it’s good. Looking forward to seeing it during our cruise.

I don't have any on my Disney Visa either. I just started getting offers on my Sw card. But it new, just since Jan. I don't use my Disney card so that may be my problem not sure.
Mine said “Use your card and come back to look for offers” before they started appearing. I only have 3 or 4, not like my CF which has lots.

Will Smith is only a bad choice if the person has to compare him to Robin Williams, which is what the entertainment weekly reviewer did so they didn't like it. Like in the stage show, the live action movie isn't a cartoon and has a somewhat different story. You can't amd wouldn't just redo the animanted movie as live action, which is partly why this is the first I've seen. I also found the animation in BatB a bit creepy.

I don't enjoy the lion king or nemo shows at wdw, I know send me to the shun corner. For me there are some stories that are just better animated than live action however you do it. But in order for them to work, or any remake, you need to be able to separate it and not compare it. It should compliment not duplicate.

I got a PM from another member, also having the same issue.
From what I can tell in looking at my account, there is nothing not allowed. There is zero reason for what they are saying. I have looked at the list of things that do not earn bonus miles, it's the same list that does not earn regular miles either.
April statement, spent $5845.39-$195 fee = 5650.39. Was credited 5649 miles for "eligible purchases" (this is the wording on my statement) and 150 extra miles for the Delta purchase.
May statement, spent 474.12 - 46.28 in returns = 427.84. Credited 432 miles for "eligible purchases". Those total 6081 miles in "eligible purchases, which matches myspend. I have since spent another $215. And yet last night he tells me that only $4671.17 in eligible charges have been made. This contradicts what my statements from them say.
I just don't even know what to do. I can add more spend, but for what, the same results?
