Puleeze! I was trying to catch up to you for most of the Half! I just caught you at a weak moment before the finish & barely finished before you, silly!

Is Jelly Rolls where the WISH Half Marathon Marauders are going to continue re-fuelling post Kitchen Sinks at Beaches & Cream? Someone needs to start putting together an itinerary of these events. I would, but at this point I am more confused than anything else. I suppose for the 3:00 AM volunteer shift, its possible to just head straight to check-in at WWS after Jelly Rolls closes. Or would this be a pre-half marathon carb loading event?

Ok, I got a response from Disney sports:

"Please contact Kristi O'Rourke...to let her know what you would like to do. She is our group coordinator."

- So, do we all want to be at the same stop?

- And if so, does the Red #2 water stop work for everyone?

- If we have more than 10 people, maybe we could start manning the blue #2 water stop as well. This lets us out early enough to go scream team near the finish.

- Can everyone who already signed up, PM me their real names. I can pass that info along to her when I call Disney.

- I will be sure to see if we can wear our WISH gear!

Ok, if they stick me in the blue corals will I be able to change and go into a RED coral since that will be were our team is????

2nd question: If I collapse at any point along the course how do I contact Judy and Cam to get the hunky hunky guys? I do believe it was Cam that waved them down right?

3rd but really it's an issue and not a questsion.... LEAVE SOME SINKS for AFTER January 13th please! I will either need to refuel or drown my sorrows. Either way I will NEED ice cream

And last you... all are CRAZY! Doing Jelly Rolls after the Half and then going directly to the volunteer shifts. As Dave says 'You ain't right!' LMBO But you know it's your faces that will drag us thru the miles. I love the idea that it's not running to mile markers but now we're running towards friends who will just happen to be counting down the miles

Ok I just had a YARC moment

I was reading the 'corral placement' question and had seen Pat's reply about being in BLUE with her DH doing the RED Water Stop.

Suddenly I had this vision as all the WISH runners come racing to the RED water stop yelling 'WE WANT THE RED HEAD" Judy you might be slightly displaced on Jan 13th LMBO But no worries we shall quickly set you back on your feet

I'm carrying my own water so at Mile 2 I probably won't need water and therefore won't cause a water shortage, but I WILL NEED to see those smiing faces of those sooo dear to us

Pat we'll have to check in at guest relations and plead our cases if we have blue bibs. If we have blue bibs we shall be sooo BLUE *sniffle* perhaps they will feel sorry for us and place us where our hearts are

I had a cowbell from way back when....it sure did make a lot of noise! We need to find lime green cowbells

Really though....it was a lot of fun to ring the bell for the half even if I did get a couple of minor blisters and my ears "rang" for a while afterward.

There are four of us WISHers traveling together who would like to volunteer on Sunday (klh-or, rake5, plutopdx and sassparillo). We are all doing the 1/2 on Saturday. Any suggestions/requests where we should volunteer? This is our first 1/2 and also our first trip to DW, but we like the idea of volunteering and screamin' for our WISH teammates.

Karla - I am trying to get a group of 10 or more WISHers together to volunteer as a group for the Full. We'd love to have you along! Please PM me with your first & last names so I can give the people at Disney the appropriate information. As you can see from previous posts, we are concentrating more on the #2 water stop. This way, we can finish our volunteer duties and still make it to the finish to keep cheering for our teammates.

I am going to call my contact at WDW tomorrow about our team of volunteers. Now that we have 4 more, we definately have enough for a group.

I got everyone of your PMs. I know I haven't responded to most of them. I have also been crazy with planning my best friend's bridal shower (ugh).

I will get back to you all tomorrow - I promise!

This sounds great...I'll run it by my 3 buddies and get back to you. This shift is from 3-9 a.m., right? I'm confused...what are we doing that early since the event doesn't start until 6 am? Three of us are from the west coast so this will be midnight for us! Ha - we didn't plan to sleep much during our time at DW anyway!!

Also, I don't remember PMing you. Do you maybe have me confused with somebody else about that??

Even though I'm taking Krista's advice and not volunteering since it's my first time, I'm planning to be part of the scream team for most, if not all, of the full. I'll pack my cow bell and bring it to the water stop and hang out with you guys and make lots of noise!

Thinking I probably need to put it in the checked luggage - don't even want to go there with the baggage screeners!
