I saw that they posted our night for the Pirate Party (night 3), but can anyone tell me if there is a formal/semi-formal night on this cruise?

Where did you find out about pirate night? I would love to know because we want to book Palo for pirate night.

I logged in to the Disney cruise site and clicked on Planning center on the top left and then on My Cruise Activities
I have read a lot of reviews where people booked Palo for pirate night...do the main dining rooms get crazy that night?

There are some fun activities. We personally don't care for the food on pirate night so that's why we like to eat at Palo.

To answer your questions, there is a formal and (usually) a semi-formal night on the 7 day cruises.

There are only two rules:

1. You must give a gift to each cabin on your FE list - individual or cabin gift is entirely up to you, but please be mindful of the allergy/prohibited list....we wouldn't want to give candy to a diabetic or alcohol to someone who can't/won't have it.

2. You must have fun .... that is the whole reason we do this FE exchange...to add a little extra magic and pixie dust to our cruise!

We're sailing with our 6 & 9yr old daughters and I think they would enjoy the FE. This is our first DC. Where is the best place to get a solid understanding of the ins/outs of it so we're completely up to speed on the expectations of participants and what to expect ourselves?
