Boy, was I wrong big time. GREAT JOB Walt Disney World.

At first, I tried calling instead of going online and got these recordings. Redialing since 659am EST and still redialing. Disney recording says, "Sorry ALL lines are busy now. Will you please try again later."

Well...yes...redial...redial..............redial! Pause...pause........AT&T operator recording says, "ALL Circuits are busy now.....will you please try your call later."

Look along the top row of the page above the Disney Search window. Click on the link that says, "WHERE TO EAT". Then scroll down this page until you see the link that says, "DINING EVENTS" and click on that link. The MAIN thing to remember, you can look at the restaurant links, but go back to the bottom of this page to book your Epcot Candlelight Processional Packages. If you clicked on one of the restaurant links, you will only book a regular dining reservation.

So at the bottom of the page, "Make a Reservation:Select an Event Holidays Around The World - Candlelight Dining Packages".

I leave the preference blank so that I can see which restaurants are available.

The main thing that you will notice and you will know that you are on the right page is that after you chose a date, you will see that the time you chose only gives you three choices. These are the CLP show times of 5pm, 648pm and 815pm. Chose which show that you want. And don't forget to pick the number of guests. It shows 2 people. I chose 2 person since I am solo.

Now just click, "SEARCH FOR A TABLE".

Now you will see a screen for all of the available restaurants and times. At the bottom you will see those restaurants that are not available for that particular show time. If you don't see what you like go back and chose another one of three show time choices or even another day.

If you do see a restaurnant, choose the time and click the button, "RESERVE". Put in your information, address, credit card information, etc.. Wait for a new page to pop up with your reservation number, date, time, restaurant.

You're done.

I usually get an email confirmation, too, that I save.

I don't seem to see a place where the specific cost is located. I think that they just put your credit card on file.

If you’ve ever visited Walt Disney World Resort during the holidays, you can only imagine the planning that goes into creating the spectacular holiday offerings for each of our four parks. Our cast members are already hard at work planning every detail our guests will enjoy this holiday season – including lining up some wonderful celebrity talent for this year’s Candlelight Processional at Epcot.

If you’re not familiar, the Candlelight Processional is a beloved holiday offering at Epcot that combines seasonal music with a reading of scripture by a celebrity narrator. It will be performed nightly November 23 – December 30, at 5, 6:45 and 8:15 p.m.
I was just given permission to share a sneak peek at the list of celebrities who have already been confirmed to appear in this year’s show. This is only a partial list, so not all dates will be listed. I’ll update the list as additional narrators are confirmed. I’m happy to report that Neil Patrick Harris, a crowd favorite, is back. So is Gary Sinise, who’s a sort of honorary “cast member” for his appearance in the Mission: SPACE pre-show. And of course, new for this year is actress/singer Olivia Newton John.

**********AFTER GETTING MY RESERVATIONS, I STARTED GETTING THIS INFORMATION FROM EVERYONE.

1. Since the CLP package booking started earlier than last year, on June 26th, the 180 Day requirement seems to apply this year.
2. Le Cellier Steakhouse only has Lunch choices again with no Dinner and only the 5pm show so far.
3. Some guests did not use the correct online link and didn't notice choices for 3 time slots for the three shows and signed up for regular dining reservations instead.
4. You cannot exchange a regular dining reservation for a CLP package dining event reservation.
5. No cost or price listed for CLP package when booking and credit card to be put on file and not charged, yet. A price range is posted instead,

Lunch Packages range from $32.99–$55.99 for Guests 10+, and
$12.50–$17.99 for Guests 3–9
Dinner Packages range from $49.99–$66.99 for Guests 10+, and
$14.50–$26.99 for Guests 3–9

6. DIS Moderator says guests can use Dining Plan to pay for CLP Package, but no information on website as of June 26th.
7. When chosing a restaurant, try leaving "No Preference" for a choice instead of the individual restaurant. You may get later times and more time choices.
8. When you get home, don't forget to check your credit card account to see if you were credited the $10.00 per person deposit for regular dining reservation if you cancelled them and you did not receive a credit.

I got my reservation completed online for Biergarten 5pm show. I need to cancel an existing ADR for Biergarten. The system tried, but failed.

Got mine online while I was waiting on hold on the phone. Got 12/1 which is what I wanted. Couldn't get 8:15 show, but got 6:45 show. (3:30 dinner reservation)

Person picked up at 7:12, just as I was finishing entering everything for my 2nd reservation online for Via Napoli. Got 3:30 dining for the 6:45 show on both Christmas Eve and 12/27.

Just booked my dinner at the Garden Grill for the 8:15pm show for Dec 6 {and 540pm dining time.}

Got Garden Grill for 4:30 on December 3rd!!!!Funny thing...I'm at WDW now! Gotta get to AK!

I got Teppan Edo for the 12/5 2nd CP I guess we'll be having dinner at 3:40pm

I got put on hold at 6 a.m., and shortly thereafter made my reservations for Rose & Crown for the 8:15 p.m. show (4:50 p.m. dinner) on 12/5.

We got in about 5 minutes ago! December 25th at 1:30 Rose & Crown with a 5pm showing! We seem to have gotten very lucky with the timing, we can't get the system to work now for ANY reservation making.

Was on hold for 20 minutes but got Le Cellier, 12/13 at 12:55pm.

I was able to get Friday 12/14 at Tutto Italia for the 8:15 show with a dining res at 4:45!

Got Garden Grill on 12/15 at 4:15 for the 6:45pm!!!

We always do 6:45 but this year we will try the 8:15 show, so we got 11/30 8:15 show eating at 5:45 at Via Napoli.

I got Chefs de France on December 14th at 5:10pm

I went online this morning and was able to book at 515 LaHacienda with the 815 show on Black Friday

Booked for Dec 19 - 815p show, La Hacienda de San Angel, 5p.

Thursday, November 29, 2012, 335pm The Garden Grill, 645 CLP show.

I got Garden Grill 5:20pm on Nov 28th (yay! NPH!) for the 8:15 show !

I called at 7 a.m. this morning and got 4:30 reservations at San Angel Inn for the 8:15 show - with a party of 7.

Got LeCellier @ 12:45 on 12/22 of course for the 5pm show

Yeah, I went online this morning and got Teppan Edo for 4pm on 12/26 for the 6:45pm show!

I currently have 4:45 at La Haciend

It is now over 24 hours since the opening of the 2012 Candlelight Processional Package Event.

I wanted to try and see if I could obtain a later Lunch time slot for Le Cellier Steakhouse, but I couldn't find a later time.

I did find out that if I used no preference versus using an individual restaurant I obtained more time slots. When I chose just the Le Cellier Steakhouse I was only shown one time of 1155am. But when I input No Preference, I was able to see three times of 1155am; 1215pm; and 1245pm. Plus all of the other restaurants with times and/or no availability at the bottom of the page.

You may get different results for different days, but the criteria that I chose was the date of December 12, 2012, two guests instead of solo, 5pm CLP Show and No Preference.

Last year, many of the Disney websites showed certain Epcot Candlelight Processional Package event dinner range times. This year the times ranges were not found anywhere, yet. But they look like the time slots have expanded. Le Cellier Steakhouse has times as early as 1155pm and I could find any times anywhere close to 145pm.

Same for the dinner times. No times found after 600pm.

What do you think?

I don't think anyone knows here on the forum, yet.

Hopefully, they may come out before Tuesday.

But when you call on Tuesday, June 26th, you can ask the Disney Cast Member which restaurants, their times, and then who the narrator will be for the day and possible times that you want.

I wonder if this year that they might be available online on the first day? I doubt it.

I wonder if the dining times have expanded from last year?

Even thought most of us have heard by phone the same information from Disney Cast Members that this would be the date, this is the first time that I have actually seen it "written" on an "official" Disney website.

Me, too, I guess that we can keep looking at the website above on DisneyParks.com and their links that take you to the Disney.com website to see if they are updated. Or by calling by phone. Or, of course, here on the DIS.

I will do the same thing.

I will pick one day and time and go from there. Over the years, I have chosen a specific narrator only to be unlucky and have them cancel before arriving. I didn't cancel. I just enjoyed the new narrator and usually very entertained.

I usually use the standby line to see the different narrators during my vacation, or I will grab a place outside, near the gate and watch it.

If you made "regular" Epcot Dining Reservations, what times did you get?

I am curious because maybe if everyone posts their times we might be able to get a good idea if they are change the dining time availability for Lunch and Dinner.

Last year, the times for the three shows were:

Lunch 1:45 – 2:45 p.m. for 5:00 p.m. show
Dinner 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. for 6:45 p.m show
Dinner 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. for 8:15 p.m. show

I was able to get the follwing regular dining reservations:

135pm Lunch November 29th Le Cellier Steakhouse.
750pm Dinner December 5th Rose and Crown Pub and Dining.
550pm Dinner December 6th The Garden Grill (No Lunch availability).
130pm Lunch December 12th Le Cellier Steakhouse.

It looks like the only time out of sync is The Garden Grill which shows I was able to make a reservation within last years CLP time slot. I wonder if they are going to expand on contract The Garden Grill time slots

I too was wondering and hopeing Disney would announce an official listing of parcipatating restaurants for the CP before we have to book on Tuesday.

In reading through some posts on the DIS from last year it seems in 2010 Biergarten and R&C were not included but were in 2011.

It would be nice to be prepared in case my 1st choice is not available by time I get through on the phone.

12/13 - Lunch - Coral Reef - 11:30 Dinner - Le Cellier - 7:00

12/14 - Dinner - La Hacienda - 6:00

I was just looking at another website - they have updated their information from yesterday. It looks like the same restaurants are available this year as last year. They don't have any prices listed just the restaurants.

Last year the dining time slots for 2011 were below:

Show 1 (5:00pm): Dining reservation between 1:45pm-2:45pm
Show 2 (6:45pm): Dining reservation between 3:30pm-4:30pm
Show 3 (8:15pm): Dining reservation between 5:00pm-6:00pm

It looks like your times were outside last year's CLP time slots.

I was looking at some Disney websites, too. But, I couldn't find where their updates finished with the older information from last year.

What Time Should I Make My Dining Reservation with the Candlelight Processional Package?
You will be given a block of time in which you can book your reservation. It is generally about three hours before the show is scheduled.
Show 1 (5:00pm): Dining reservation between 1:45pm-2:45pm
Show 2 (6:45pm): Dining reservation between 3:30pm-4:30pm
Show 3 (8:15pm): Dining reservation between 5:00pm-6:00pm
I would recommend scheduling the meal towards the beginning of the window, so you have plenty of time to eat and get in line for the show.

Thanks for your reply. I hope that they might post them before Tuesday, too; just to plan out my first, second and third choices.

I too was wondering and hopeing Disney would announce an official listing of parcipatating restaurants for the CP before we have to book on Tuesday.

In reading through some posts on the DIS from last year it seems in 2010 Biergarten and R&C were not included but were in 2011.

It would be nice to be prepared in case my 1st choice is not available by time I get through on the phone.

Thanks for your reply. I didn't try last year. I like making reservations online, too. I get to see so much information at one time with most of the restaurants own menu, and Lunch and Dinner hours, and time availability.

I wonder if they will actually put them online for the initial day offering?

I guess we will find out Tuesday morning at 6am EST.

If not, a guess their might be a whole lot of guests calling by phone at 7am EST.
