Just wondering are most of you calling in for ADRs or are you doing it on line?
I have to make our ADR for BOG next month and am already wondering if I can speed up the phone call by pressing the correct options quickly, like as soon as the voice starts talking . I think I remember you could do this but that was over a year ago, I think they've changed the options menu since then.
I was thinking of calling and practicing before the date I really need to call... how obsessive am I getting

Anyway just wondering what you think is the better way to score a most coveted ADR.

Since online reservations open an hour before the phone lines, you need to do it online at 6 AM Eastern. Try for 180+10 as deep into your extra 10 as you can.

Most of us who have them already had to call in on that mess the first day they were offered (by phone only that first day). Your experience will be totally different I imagine. Still a hard to get ADR, but at least it's not crashing systems any longer.

I have an ADR for February 28th at 6:10pm for 4 people! I keep trying for our December trip but we have a party of 10 so it is hard getting ADRs in general, never mind this one.

Speaking of crashing the system...has anyone else had to call Disney Dining since then and been treated to a HUGE APOLOGY for all of the chaos? I've had to call twice and each time I've been thanked endlessly for my understanding and patience with everything that happened on August 20th. I'm guessing it was enough of a PR nightmare that they have some kind of apology requirement in place.

Oh well- still getting super excited...2 months from Thursday and we'll be dining in Beast's Castle. I even was able to add the 8:05a at CRT so we start the day dining in Cinderella castle and end the day in Beasts. A DAY OF 2 CASTLES!

That's too funny. Apologies are great, but honestly...... they couldn't see that one coming and handle things differently? Oh well, at least the didn't announce the addition of alcohol to the menu until after that was over. If possible, that would have made it even more popular.

And I guess great minds think alike..... somewhere along the way it dawned on us that it would be fun to dine in 2 castles in one day. So we added CRT for at 10 AM, and our dinner at BOG is at 7:30 PM. We start the day at BBB at 8:10. I can't wait. It's going to be an awesome day! That's Saturda 12/15 and the crowd calendar for the MK is pretty ugly for that day, so I figured we might as well spend our day keeping appointments!

Can I use our first night ressie at the CR to make all my ADRs going 10 days out? Probably not, but if its allowed then I wouldnt want to miss out.

You should be able to. The system likely will not limit you to the number of nights on your reservation. But don't expect anyone on the phone lines to tell you that.

I had a 2 part reservation (room only then free dining) and was told I could only make ADR's for our first reservation on the first day, but then would have to call back a few days later to make the second half when that reservation triggered another 180 plus 10. But the system gave me 10 days from the get go.

Just to clarify.... I made my ADRs online. I doubt I would have had issue by phone, but you never know when you might hit a rogue CM who refuses to do it for you. So do try online.

OMG!! this made me so excited!! I phoned and booked for 4:00 party of 25

The only downside is now what do I do with the CRT for 5:30?? there is no room to move our large group to a different day for CRT...

Thinking about maybe just cancelling it and seeing if we can get Akershus instead?? What to do What to do??

Honestly, I'd think your odds of getting a party of 25 in anywhere at this point are pretty slim. I think you're going to have to pick one of the options before you and just go with it.

I saw that there was a vacancy for that date in the thread with all the diser with ADRs for BOG I wonder why that was they left it open?? Also the time for Dinner reservations was very small 4-5:45 Thought that was odd too...
