Shaping up for 2.0

My thoughts on the Wii Fit.

Time of day matters. So does the choices of weighing with their tare weights with light/heavy clothing vs. the zero option. If you are choosing the zero clothing change option, weighing in at the same time of day as your WW weigh in, wearing similar clothes, then maybe that WW scale has an issue.

My WW meeting has actually three scales you can weigh in on. If they have different scales, maybe try weighing in on a different one if possible. But if you're consistent keeping the same weigh in conditions, it would be interesting to see if you'll hit a difference next month.

Thanks guys! :thumbsup2
I weigh in on the wiifit at the same time each day.
I weighed in on the wiifit in the same clothes I wore to weight watcher's.
I then left and went directly to WW and did eat or drink anything before I weighed in there.
So I will take your advice and DH and continue to use the Wiifit to weigh in and see what happens again next month. :)
Thank you again for your advice, and will keep you posted.:thumbsup2

Okay, you guys that are riding your bike in the evening when it is 54 degrees? It was 106 degrees here on the bank sign at seven p.m. when I came home from work! grrrrr I'm sure the bank sign was not quite correct but you see how hot it has been here the past ten days - all over 100 degrees! Pool (water) is about the only way to exercise!

I am the night time bike rider.
Here in Maine, it feels like fall. It is so weird! It should be in the mid 80s duringthe day. We bought a pass for the municiple pool and haven't used it!

I am SO sorry you are having to deal with the high heat! Humidity, too? That is so miserable!

Keep up with the pool exercise. I do water aerobics in the indoor pool in the winter. It is great.

I walked 3.3 miles this morning and it was very muggy outside, after I got back I checked the Humidity levels with NWS and it was 90% :scared1:.

If the temps get high to match that humidity, it could be time to find a mall to walk in! Don't hurt yourself.

Hi everyone!
On Friday, I walked 2.5 miles - there was rain/Tstorms in the area that I had to wait to clear before I went out, so my time was cut short.

This morning, I walked 3.6 miles.

Tomorrow is weigh-in day. I am hoping that the scale moves back in the right direction this week.

I'm down one more pound. And now, the rest of my family is on the diet wagon here with me. DS needs to lose a few pounds before football starts, so DH and DD jumped in as well.

Congrats on the loss, and on getting your family on board! The more the merrier, right? :cheer2:

We're almost finished moving; I've been a week without the scale (for whatever reason we kept not grabbing it). Tomorrow's weigh in should be interesting. :scared:

That is so great the the whole family is working together :grouphug:

With all the cardio from moving, you should be ok. love that you kept forgetting to move the scale :rotfl2:

Weigh in result: -.4

I'll take it!

as long as there is a minus in front of the number, it's a good week.

Got in a great workout and had a great overall week. Biked 10 miles and ran 3 yesterday, totalled about 15 miles this week and hit the gym 4 times. Hopefully this shows on the scale next week. Maybe if I didn't go to anymore cookouts I'd have better luck.

Wow!! That does sound like a very successful week. We've been going out walking every night, taking different routes each time so it doesn't get boring. If I could just get the training wheels off the kids' bikes, it would be so much easier to go biking with them. Right now, the bike is still getting stuck if the pavement is uneven! :rotfl2:

CinderellasSister congrats on your weight loss! :cheer2::cheer2:

BriarRosie congrats on your weight loss as well! :cheer2::cheer2:

Don wish I had been able to get to the gym and ride like that.
However there seems to be some difficultly with the kids being home for the summer. Hoping that will change soon.
Congrats on your hard work I am sure it will show even with the cookouts. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I will not be holding out for a loss this week as today is my birthday.
Let's start by saying I got a box of Laura Secord chocolate covered caramels and I ate the whole box myself. Can you say inhaled. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:
Then I have an cake coming this afternoon.:eek:
This really won't go well with the scale, but it is only once a year! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Yep, it's only once a year!! :bday:

Here's some cake for you that WON'T cause any scale issues! :cake:

I think I'm gonna have to start calling you Iron Man. You can have your own theme song, too.

Happy Birthday, Katherine!
:bday: :cake: :bday: :cake:

I don't think your birthday splurge is going to as much damage as mine will in a few months. I plan on documenting it all in food porn. ;)

WOW - Rice Krispie treats come prepackaged - only 90 calories each :thumbsup2

WOW - if you can't stop and practically eat the whole box :sad2:

WOW - you gain 1/2 lb. :scared1:

Next week will be better - the krispie treats are gone :rotfl2:
