"Security" Checks at the Gates Still Ongoing?

Considering that I smelled pot several times in different places at Epcot at night, I'd say the checks are a sham.

I should add that I think I spotted one of the people smoking pot and she was in a motorized wheelchair, so I was NOT about to go get her kicked out the park or anything. It is none of my business what people choose to use for the medicines...

Just trying to circumvent any replies about if I reported the pot smell to anyone...

Funny you mention it, but I was in Epcot on Nov 2 in the evening and I swore I smelled pot a couple times. Thought I was imagining things...

Wonder what they would do if they found a joint in someone's bag. They are cm's, not real police right?

An independent margarita stand had the controlled substances policy posted and it say anyone under 21 consuming alcoholic beverages or anyone found with illegal controlled substances (which pot is a schedule 1) will be asked to leave the park and possibly be turned over to authorities.

I would imagine if one was caught with a joint on whatever, they would be escorted off the property. I wondered though if people from countries where medical Mj is legal would be allowed to stay?

Funny that you smelled pot too. Dh and I couldn't believe it. We smelled it at the same time but didn't say anything to each other about it because my parents would have flipped out, so later we were amused that we both had smelled it.

I would imagine pot is easy to slip in as long as it is in your pocket since they don't check the clothes on your body...
