6 days/5 nights at All Stars $301.84 (with tax and discounts)
2 Adult AP's 1 Child AP $1,009.12 (with tax and discounts)

Feb 2004
6 days/5 nights at All Stars $301.84 (with tax and discounts)

Total $1,612.80 for 2 trips.

Plus $100 gas, $50 hotel for trip down, $50 food for there and back, $15 cereal, milk and doughnuts for a couple of breakfasts at WDW. and $100/day for snacks, supper and souvenirs. Around $750 each trip.

Grand total about $1600/trip.

All of this is wishfull thinking (based on this years discounts, prices and tax rates, and based on my wife only spending $100 per day in the parks)

We are going all out: (2 real adults, 1 "child-adult", 2 real children)

6 nts Contemporary Tower/3 nts AKL Deluxe Savannah - $2,255
6 day PHPs - $1,216
Meals, snacks, souvenirs and activities - $2,300 (priced out in detail)

Total for 10 days/9 nights: $5,771

Probably also 1.5 tanks of gas for the drive which is 5 hours each way and about $50 for food to have some breakfasts and lunches in the room.

This is a lot for us, but includes an anniversary dinner at V&A while 3 kids go to the Neverland Club, plus an Illuminations cruise (not shared), 2 other nice dinners where the kids will go to kid's clubs and nice family dinners out on the other nights as well as Grand Adventures in cooking, renting mouseboats and doing mini-golf etc... We could do this much cheaper, but have chosen to splurge for our 15th anniversary and husband's 40th BD.

Updated to reflect new resort price.

8 nights CBR - $879.12
Tiffany Towncar - $75
2 7-day Hoppers - $596.90
2 n/s r/t DC to MCO - $306
Food (including V&A) - $1200
Souveniers etc. - $300

Total - $3357.02

Not a fabulous deal for 2 people, but we've save close to $700 already over what we were originally going to pay. And we won't hold back on anything this trip.

We are going next month. My family of 3 plus my mom and disabled sister, my sisterand BIL as well as 4 kids

Tickets- got annual passports last August so we will not need them. 3rd trip on them.

Hotel- We are DVC members so we are staying on points for 5 days and have rented a 6 bedroom house for 6 nights at $159 a night total around $1000

Gas- we usually count on $200-250 for gas, we drive from Indiana

Hotels for way down and back are less than $100 total.

Seaworld tickets were bought and payed for several months ago. I think they were around $45 a pc. for 2 days(got the deal online). Used my mastercard webcertificate card and am supposed to get $60 back in mastercard giftcards which I will use to help pay for gas.( i got 10 tickets).

Money for disney- We don't buy souvenirs any more because we have been so many times. I earned mall certificates from my work for picking up extra hours. I turned the certificates into Disney Dollars. I have $420 so about $80 a day. I turned MYPOINTS into Rainforest Cafe certificates as well. $50 dollars
At the house we will do alot of cooking and we will split the groceries 3 ways so it shouldn't be bad. On the way down we are taking a cooler to eat in the rest areas because my sister won't have a lot of extra money.

I am figuring less than $2000 for whole trip.I am paying for house or it wouldn't be so much. I am also using my DVC points to get 2 2-bedroom units at the boardwalk for everyone. We go in a group every 2-3 years.

Just DH and I for our 15th anniversary trip. Here's what we have budgeted:

2 Tickets on Southwest..............$ 238

Has anyone included gratuity for valet parking, skycaps, bellmen? If so, in what category did you put it, and how much did you allow?

:smooth: Just my husband and me! Our 1st time to Disney as Adults! We both haven't been since 1980!!

Here's our Budget and I already purchased tickets, hotel, and airfare.....
Like I said I haven't been to Disney as an Adult and don't know how much to budget for meals, but we will have a kitchen, so I am planning on eating breakfast in the room and packing lunches or going back to the room for lunches...

Nov. 16 -23, 2002

OKW Resort (timeshare trade-in) $121 + $95 = $216

Travel Insurance $59

Airfare from Phila, PA to MCO (2 Adults direct) $353

Sedan from Airport $75

(2) 5day hopper plus 4 option passes $471

Groceries for the week Breakfast/Lunch stuff $100

Spending Money for Souviners/Drinking $700

Dinner in Park every night $420

GRAND TOTAL $2,394

Not bad! I was going for under $2,500!!! Yeah!

Hi! Posted this earlier. About tips and things, we usually leave $2-5 per day for mousekeeping depending on how trashed the room is:)

This is our eight day budget for our upcoming June trip (me, the mom) and 2 teens going June 13-21. My hubby will not be there. He will only go once a year, max.
Hotel: off site first night -probably will Priceline for around $40
Hotel: All Star Music 7 nights with Disney Club discount: and tax: $660.18 (I had a cheaper rate but lost it when we had to change our dates a few weeks ago )
Tickets: Kids: $130
Me: $100
(These are prorated amounts with our Premium Annual Passports-cost divided by # of days used. We used these last August, at Thanksgiving and I will use mine again in July)
Meals: Lunch at Restaurant Akershus (w/tax and tip) $50
Dinner at Boma (w/tax and tip) $85
6 Quick and Causal Vouchers $66 (we use two per meal)
The rest of our meals will be prepared in the room. Since we'd be eating at home anyway I don't count these. I prepare and freeze stuff like chili and we bring lots of breakfast and sandwich stuff. We can't afford to eat out every meal and I'd rather spend the $$$ on a few nice sit-downs than a lot of fast food.
Gas: $80
The kids will pay for their own souvenirs and extras.

Total: $1211.18 (or around $150/day)

(+around $25 for tips)

Meals & souvenirs.................................$1,000

Other tips, laundry, misc............................$75

Total 10 days $4,463

Here's the budget(more or less) from my March Spring Break trip(only for me, as my friend paid his own way):

1 roundtrip ticket on Spirit Air: $200

5 Nights at Off site hotel at $21/night: $105

1 4 day hopper: $200

Camcorder for trip: $350

Food: $250

Souvenirs: $200

Total: $1305

I am now a poor, poor, poor, poor man :(

Here's our budget for 8/24-9/1 (DH, 2 DS and myself):

Portland, OR to MCO on AA using FF miles for 3 and bonus for 1 ticket: $125
One night lodging prior to check in at condo: $40
Timeshare Condo exchange $120
Rental Car/Gas: $160
5 Days WDW Passes: $825
Food & Misc.: $600

Grand Total= $1870.00 or so

Airlines tickets Milwaukee - Orlando Free, Hubby works for an airline
5 nights at the Royal Plaza with Tax - $421
Tiffany Town Car =$80
2 day car rental = $30, again hubbies discount through the airline.
Disney tickets = $250 , only going 2 days
So out of our budget of $2300 that leaves us with $1600 for food and misc! Which we will not need that much.

My budget I may cringe lol. It's DH, DD, and I on this trip. DD will be 10. DAtes Holiday season Dec. 20th - Dec. 28th.

total 3854.00

 but the car rental, exchange fee, MVMCP are already paid for.

Well, out 'budget' isn't inexpensive, but neither is it totally frugal. We're taking my inlaws (6 "adults", 2 "children") in December. They must pay their way to MCO, and most of their own food and their junk...plus misc. like booze). We're picking up the rooms and tickets and some of the food for them:

Trip: 7 nights early December:

Rooms: $1530.00 Firm Cost (already paid. :) )
(one 2 bedroom, two studios at Old Key West, price arrived by costing out, per point, in our DVC membership)

Travel: $500.00 Estimated High
(includes gas, food, snacks, motel to/from, room night before checkin)

Food: $750 total Estimated(for us)
(Many meals eaten in room, 1 CB, 3 'Real' meals out, some counter lunches out, grocery costs. Eating in alot is based on trying to keep the inlaws costs low...we plan on daily breaks at the rooms during the trip).

Tickets: $2261.20 Firm Cost
(8 Adult, 2 child 5day PHP through connections if I can't find'm cheaper

Mad Money: $200

Fireworks Boat Cruise for my B-Day: $200ish
(If we can get the cruise, plus I have a feeling the inlaws will pay for this as our thank you).

Overnight Camp for the Dogs: $300.00

We'll have vehicles there, so no rental cars or transport needed.

Our total 'costs' are estimated at about $5800.00. For our inlaws, we're expecting about $1300.00 per family (3 of them). So, total estimated costs for 8 'Adults' and 2 'Children' is about 8700.00, or a little under a grand per person.

-Joe

My DS (20) and I are going 12/14/02 to 12/19/02 (value season)

Meals, tips, spending money 900.00
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
total 2361.00

My son is paying for his own ultimate park hopper and his own spending money, so my cost will be reduced, but this is what I figured total. My hope is to stay under the 2500.00 mark!

Cast is Me, DD 9 , and DS 6 .. Nov 29-Dec 7 - value season

Airfare (not purchased yet ) 200.00 each = 600.00
Hotel ( 2nite ASMO,4nite OKW studio,2nite POR) = 631.00

Car Rental = 190.00

spending money !!!
