Pay with Disney gift card on Shop Disney Parks app

Does anyone know if you can use a Disney gift card to pay on the Shop Disney Parks app? Loaded up my cart with a bunch of stuff I could only find on that app hoping to use my gift card, but it looks like you can only use a credit card? Saw a 2015 mom's panel post saying payment by gift card would be available "soon."

Just want to see if I'm missing some trick. If not I'm dumping most of the items I was going to buy

If there is a trick I haven't found it. I was unable to order using Disney Gift Cards on the app.

Call them. They should be able to apply your gift card. I have heard of others success with this. Good Luck!
