I can't swallow pills. I always just crush it and add a little water and take it that way. Be sure to have LOTS of water to drink behind it because it's gross.
When I had my babies, the nurses thought it was so funny that I couldn't swallow my pain medication afterwards. They crushed it up and mixed it in ice cream for me, like I was a little kid! lol!
Just make sure you never crush anything that is time-released. I had to take some medication for my ulcer that is time released and it about kills me. It eventually just melts in my mouth because i whirl it around in there so long. I try to eat cheetos and lost the pill in it, but it doesn't work. It's psychological for me too.
