Beautiful pictures Sam. Seeing the castle all lit up with the Christmas lights is amazing. Even though your pictures are beautiful seeing the castle in person decorated for Christmas is a must. Great update. I hope y'all enjoyed the party.

i don't get around these parts much anymore. being a grandpaw takes a lot of my time, but i wouldn't take nothing for it. anyway, i am enjoying your latest trip report. i love Disney anytime of the year but i guess Christmas time is my favorite. the decorations, the music, the lights, the shows, always bring back the memories of my childhood growing up watching uncle walt with my brother & mom & dad. thanks for writing another report. and your pictures are always top notch. i know your trip to the land of the rising sun is almost here. have a safe trip and make lots of memories for another report.

I do now have a new love for it during the holidays but fall will always be my favorite time.

Its The Spirit Of The Season

After the parade we didn’t go far, we found a nice place to stand for the fireworks.
celebrate a world filled with magic, just wish upon a star that shines so bright
enter a world of make believe let your dreams come true tonight

Then right after celebrate the magic it was time for holiday wishes.

Its the spirit of the season you can feel it in the air. You can hear it if you listen, everywhere, so much care like a prayer. Where ever it is you need to share it

Can you hear it? Can you feel it? I'd say there's something magical in the air, wouldn't you? Why it's the spirit of the season, a season that sparkles with its own magic and memories.

Now you can travel near or far, look high or low, and you'll always find there's no place like home for the holidays. Cause after all home is where the heart is

Christmas really is all around us and the best part is the spirit of the season never has to end

As long as you keep your loved ones near, and the holiday wish in your heart

As much as I love Main Street it was time to get off of it for the night and spend some time in my favorite land of the kingdom. So we ran too frontier land to ride thunder and splash before we hit up some more party fun.
First up thunder because goat effect and getting the back seat. The 2 things to make the wildest ride in the wilderness that much wilder.
Next up was Splash mountain and the perfect no line wait

Before boarding into our log Erin pulled out 2 ponchos, only wimps wear ponchos on splash mountain. however I did take the extra one to sit on because no one likes a wet bottom.

We headed back to complete some more party activities, up next is a personal favorite of mine.

If you don’t think dancing with the country bears is fun well then you are missing out on a great time.

The country bears didn’t stay too long because the next parade was about to start and they had to get on their way. This left an empty dance floor for me Erin and 2 other guests. We were about to call it a night there until the DJ put on the hoedown throw down. After completely dominating the dance floor we made our way back out into frontier land and caught part of the second parade.
We didn’t watch all of it because we still wanted to get a few more things done before the night ended. So we took the shortcut to adventure land where we got some more cookies. Then we got in line to meet one of santa’s reindeer and hard working elf.

The last thing we needed to see to make this night complete was the castle stage show.

After the show me and Erin spilt up. I needed to pick up a few more things from Main Street to complete some christmas gifts and Erin wanted to go Trick or Treating around the kingdom for cookies. We said by midnight we would meet each other in front of the castle.
Once midnight came around I saw Erin and her bag full of cookies. She went at the perfect time because they were giving cookies away like crazy. She told me how one cm ask if she wanted 10, and how could you say no too that?
Since it was midnight the party was over and we decided to take some pictures with the castle

A group of girls came up to us and asked if we could take their photo, the favor was then returned

Then it was time for me to start the photographer laying down game to get some pictures. A lot of people followed suit afterwards.

Stalling On Main Street

Leaving the kingdom for the last time for the trip is always the worst. So to make it last I will take up as much time as I can by taking pictures on Main Street.

With the short photo pass lines we decided to get a cute picture in front of the castle

This was only the beginning of my click happy, take all the christmas photos.

And finally Erin was able to get me out of the kingdom.

Overall after leaving I have a new appreciation and love for MVMCP. I wasn’t a fan of it my first party I want too but I feel like there were a lot of factors that played a role in me not liking it. The major one was that I got to enjoy christmas in the place I love but also I got to be home for christmas this year. So overall it was a win win.
When we got to the bus stop I was pleasantly surprised to see a mega bus waiting for us. I have been waiting forever to ride one of these!

I mean its really just a bus, so its not all that exciting. However the best part was all the room to spread out.

Our original plan once arriving back to pop was to go explore AoA because it’s one of the most cutest resorts ever. Unfortunately we were just way to exhausted and passed out once we got back to the room. So instead we planned on going in the morning before we left on the tragical express.
On a side note: Erin did not disappoint with her skill of cookie collecting

Last Moments In Disney

Today we only had a few short hours until the ME came to pick us up. By 9 we had our room packed up, our luggage checked and taken away to the airport. We then had an hour to explore AoA. I love the easy convince to get to AoA from Pop, just a short walk over the bridge.
This was Erin’s first time exploring the grounds of AoA so we started at the cars section and walked the whole resort to Ariel.

After radiator springs we found ourselves in the big blue world

After not taking a long swim with nemo and friends we found ourselves in the great circle of life

Then we took a short photoshoot in the elephant graveyard

After a trip through the savannah we traveled under the sea

After a morning of fun at AoA it was time to had back to Pop to get our carry ons and make our way to the bus stop. We still had a bit of time left so I browsed the gift shop and picked up some snacks for home.

Goodbye Pop it has been a fulfilled 2 days

We still had time before the bus came so while we waited we climbed up into the zero

The tragical express arrived a little after 10:30 and took us away too the airport

Once we made it to the airport I made a quick pitstop at chickfila to grab a buttload of sandwiches to bring back home to the fam.

The never ending “choose a path” security line went as quickly as it could, we found our gate and made ourselves comfortable because our flight got a bit delayed.

We finally got on our plane and headed home back to NY

And with another trip in the books, its time to start another adventure but this time on the other side of the world in Tokyo!!!!!
