HOW MUCH IS YOUR 2017 DISNEY VACATION GOING TO COST

I've got a budget of $1500 for our 15-year anniversary trip in November (first EVER trip ANYWHERE without the kids!!)

2 adults, 4 days/3 nights
Flights: $0 with points
Hotel: still up in the air, most expensive option is $611
Meal Plan: $382
Tickets: we've got 2 ancient non-expiring park hoppers to cover one day so two 2-day base tickets $404

Total Cost: $1397
We'll use every bit of that $1500 (probably more) to cover gratuity and souvenirs

Works out to be $187 per person per day

(if we go our cheapest resort option it would be $152 per person per day)

Been doing this a long time but still feel like i am missing the boat on some of these discounts.. :(
We have already come back from our 2017 WDW vacation :(.. 1st week in Jan.
3 Adults - 2 Kids
8 nights at CBR
8 day park tickets
no dining plan
no memory maker
just under 4k

Meals and snacks added up to just over 1k
so just north of 5k for the trip.

short 6.5 hour drive from Ga.. so the drive to and fro was ~$150 in a Hybrid..

Family of 4. Kids are 18 and 19, so 4 Adults

1 Night CSR room only 194.00
5 Nights AKL CL
4- 4day Magic Tickets promo (1 park each day)
Memory Maker
3253.26
Total 3447.26 143.63pp

Food and souviners about 1500.00 not figured in the cost. Driving from NJ and also visiting parents in Vero beach for a few nights.

We have no budget. I guess we've gone often enough to know a good rate for each category. Park tix are what they are. So wrong really don't plan a certain amount, just spend what is reasonable to us while we're there.

Two adults, one teen, July 9-14
Five day tickets (not PH) $1050
Five nights at CBR $1326 w tax (still waiting for discounts to come out, hopefully this will be lower)
Food (OOP) approx $600

$2926 total, about $195 pp/pd

14 days - Fort Wilderness Cabins for 4 adults October 20th to November 4th
£4,100 including tickets, QS dining plan plus memory maker and £200 voucher.
£3,900 for flights
£400ish for MNSSHP tickets
£180ish for Keys to the Kingdom tour for 2.
£4,000 spending money
£12,580 in total!

It seems so expensive when it's all laid out like that doesn't it?

Tentative:

July 23rd-28th
2 people

5 nights at ASMU with 4 day tickets (sans park hopper) and quick service meal plan (1 meal per day) ~$1500
Additional food costs $500 ($250 per person)
Gas costs ~$150ish
Motels in between 2 days of driving each way ~$150
Souvenirs $300 ($150 per person)

Total: $2600 ($1300 per person)

its going to be 2and a half years since I been to wdw. Been into DCL and aulani. Going three times this year .this is for 2 adults

Trip 1 June 3 to June 11 8 nights
1 bedroom animal kingdom lodge jam boo house standard view230 points.
Air 230 x2 =520 Probably take abag piece so 50 each way with luggage is 620

Food 100 a day

Trip 2 sept 10-17 7 nights

Food 100 a day

Trip 3 dec 2-dec 9 7 nights
Saratoga treehouse 281 points other people will be in the room also but won't be paying for them.
Airline tickets won't cost anything extra because going on a cruise afterwards.so I would have the airline tickets to pay even if I wasn't going to wdw.
Food 100 a day.

So the three trips is 665 points. Points of course its money also the maintenance fees on them points is average 5.83 a points plus I add on about 2 dollars from that. Take what I paid for the dvc contracts divide it by 40 years. So the points comes to about 5207 dollars.

So the three trips is 665 points=5207$
Gold dvc pass 1170
Food 2500
Air tickets and luggage 1320.
Tips say 100 a trip is 300 dollars.

But I also will be using the annual pass for one trip next year before it expires.

$10,654.00 + airfare ($550) + puppy boarding ($750) = $11,954.00

BWI 2 bedroom with 4 adults and 2 teens. I will keep all in US dollars for a fair comparison to others.

Room: $5584 (rented points)
Dining Plan: $3231
Park Hoppers: $2748 (Canadian resident discount)

$11563 for 8 nights. so $240 per person per night.

Not bad actually since I see others are comparable.

Wow! Looking at all of these makes me wonder if we didn't get the good deal I thought we did

Garden wing room at Contemporary for 4 nights with 4 day park hopper May 7-11 = $2100, which for the room comes out to about $325 per night and then $788 total for the tickets (2 adults 1 infant). Seems like a lot of others are getting Deluxe rooms for less than $300 per night. We booked through a travel agent who had a deal going on for May. We just booked this last week. Is this a decent deal or no?

Flights will either be $450 or $650 total. We are debating on our departure time. The 6am flight out saves us $200 but requires a very early wake up (4am) for our then 11 month old and I'm worried about her not doing so well with that. The more expensive option is to fly out at 7:15am, so a 5:15am wakeup which seems more manageable.

I think thats a good deal. The room itself is $447 per night, so to get it for $325 is a good discount. I'm not sure which posts you are comparing to, but I would expect that those are deluxe stays that are either DVC members or have rented DVC points. There is an agent deal on the Poly that is fairly well known - not sure if youre seeing any posts from someone that may have booked that?

Two adults and 1 teen.
Feb 20-26
Airfare from Newark $1050
3 nights Pop Century $350
3 nights Contemporary garden wing $1014
4 day park tickets $895
Food: $900
Star Wars dessert party $207
Total cost: $4416

Thankfully I had several gift cards from birthdays and Christmas the past two years, so that was about $700 off. I also bought discounted gift cards from BJs and got 5% cash back from my Chase Freedom card, so total net cost is probably around $3500.

5 adults (Husband and I and our 15, 12 and 11 yr olds).
August 1-6,
5 nights at the poly (standard view).
6day park passes (not hopper) and the DDP.
Total = $5200

Add a few hundred for gas driving down, extra food and gifts - the total will probably be more like $5700
$190pp/day for 6 days

16 night trip 14th October 2017 (from UK)

3 adults

14 nights Animal Kingdom lodge with 14 day ultimate ticket and free regular dining plan £4092
2 nights ASMU £184
Flights £1800
Universal 14 day Tickets £651

Total £6727, approx 8072 dollars

Under fear of being found out... I won't post lol. 2016 had us on property for over 21 nights total, over several visits.
2017 will likely be much less ... being a state resident ( eliminating flights and in state tix/room deals) eases the cost quite a bit.
I typically just look for the best deal ( I tend to go more spur of moment now) and honestly don't Budget the trip but Am conscious of the cost!
Happy travels one and all.
