You can cut contact paper with an exacto knife to use as a stencil instead of the cricut. Not as fast and easy but that is how we did it in "the olden days" before cricuts! LOL!
BUMP!
For my cousins this year, I'm etching them each a set of 4 shot glasses and filling them with skittles, candy canes, etc... and giving them a recipe for skittles vodka, candy cane vodka... and which other other candy I decide to include.

Two years ago I was inspired by Oprah's favorite things, so I made my sisters in law "Deborah's Favorite Things."
I bought things in bulk on ebay
Twirly towels or turban towels to put your hair in when you come out of the shower.
Shout wipes- love these!
Travel size Downy Wrinkle Releaser
Cute inexpensive silver pins
Travel size lip gloss
Put them all in small kraft paper shopping bags that I decorated with a paper label and Christmas theme clip art, that said "Deborah's favorite things.
I saw this idea on YouTube last year and flipped out! They mainly seem to be made for baby showers (as a favor for guests) or as a gift for the parents-to-be (using onesies and baby booties). My daughter and I have been making these for her friends anytime she has a birthday party to go. We recently presented my SIL with a cake stand full of cupcake washcloths for a housewarming gift and she loved it (Or she said she did ).
For the Cupcake Washcloths, we use an extra large washcloth (Walmart), a corsage (or other) pin to "hold" the "cupcake" in place, a jumbo-sized cupcake liner and a Dum-Dum lollipop or hard strawberry candy (in strawberry wrapper) for the "cherry" on top (you can also use a Herhsey's Kiss). You can package the washcloth in a cupcake box (baking section of craft stores; Walmart also has them in their baking section) or you can wrap it clear cellphone tied with a ribbon. Here a few pictures to give you an idea:

We plan on making some this year for Christmas gifts and we'll definitely be using Herhey's Kisses (the red ones) as the cherry.
Thanks for sharing this! This will make a great baby shower gift!

What was the intent of buying in bulk? Just curious.
I've made them using fluffy spa socks rolled up and secured with an elastic band and placed in a cupcake liner. I even made them for the teen girls for a Fish Exchange gift on our August cruise. My cherry was a lip balm that I had placed first and rolled with the socks. I then packaged them in a clear cellophane bag.
I found this idea and wanted to share
