I'm a solo 40 something female traveller and I have just finished my trip report from my first Disney cruise, the 7 night Norwegian Fjord in September 2022 https://www.disboards.com/threads/s...eptember-2022-updated-final-thoughts.3926775/
Maybe a European Disney cruise might suit you better. The European cruises are port intensive, with a lower % of children than Caribbean or Bahama cruises.
I had no issues finding things to do as a solo adult. I am not the sit in the sun with a book and a drink person and Im not into just spending time in the bars.
I did the ship tour, went to the cinema, was out on deck for sunrises, the dance party in the Atrium, went to the evening shows, went to the Rainforest room, went to Palo brunch.
I didnt do Bingo, not for me. I went to a few trivia but again not for me.
Solo travel is what you make it. I loved just walking around, taking photos, talking to the CM's, soaking up the atmosphere on the ship. I do alot of research and planning before the cruise, so I know what to expect.
Disney Cruise Blog is a great resource to see past Navigators and to get to know the types of activites that may be on your cruise.
YouTube is a great resource to see what it is actually like on the ship.
I like the Art Deco and Art Nouveau style of the Disney ships. I like the Disney themeing, Disney entertainment and Disney customer service. So for me, the higher price range is worth it.
