This year, if you want to meet Santa in Disney Springs, you can visit Once Upon a Toy from November 10th to December 24th, 2023! Note that there will be no standby queue. Instead, guests will join a virtual queue through the My Disney Experience app.

Disney announced that there will be multiple opportunities to join the virtual queue throughout the day, including at 9AM, 11:30AM, 2PM, 4:30PM, and 7PM. To join, go to the Virtual Queue section of the My Disney Experience app and tap “Disney Springs.”

Wow, I know this has generated a lot of discussion amongst the Disneyland subreddit. So it's interesting to see them take some formal action here.

The bench thing has always bothered me. On a busy day, which let's face it, is every day now, it's tough to find a place to sit for a few minutes. I always thought it was odd that Disney never did anything about the traders taking up several benches most of the day. I wish they'd find a place somewhere in DTD for pin trading instead.
