‘The Lion King’ Hyenas Appear on Flotilla at Disney’s Animal Kingdom for Earth Week​

In honor of Earth Day on Friday, April 22, the hyenas from “The Lion King” are appearing on a Discovery River flotilla in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Guests can see Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed on this jungle-themed flotilla occasionally throughout the day.

I know that it premiered at Disneyland, but a girl could dream!

I was expecting the animatronics to be actual performers. I don't dislike it and I'm sure I will love it when I see it in person but I'm still kinda disappointed.

On smaller phones like mine with brightness down there is a shadow on her face that looks like a full on goatee and mustache until you zoom in and realize it’s a shadow. I think he was just making a joke? Let’s keep this thread light.

I bet there was a stop in that half mile cut for rain … though lots of characters were in Epcot for mm at the same time

Character Couples Return to Disney’s Festival of Fantasy Parade

Starting today, more characters will return to the parade as distancing rules are dropped internally for performers. The lead float now contains character couples instead of just single characters as was the case when the parade returned:

• Beast joins Belle
• Anna joins Elsa
• Prince Charming joins Cinderella
• Prince Naveen joins Tiana

Other portions of the parade still remain modified such as the removal of dancing segments and even an entire float.

Our next trip isn't planned until December 2023. . .and while I can hear the cha-chinging adding already as character meals potentially could open back up. In 2023 they will be turning 20 and I will be turning 60, so not knowing what direction post college will take them - it could be our last mother/daughter trip together. . . .so it is nice to think they could all be back by then. I mean. that is soooo enough time.

We really missed HDDR, 1900 PF, and Crystal Palace our last trip in 2021. We still did CRT, and it was slightly less $ due to the reduced characters - but it would be nice to see it back to being more royal and special. In case it is our last trip together.

I'm not a hugger, but I do love seeing my adult kids turn into 5 year olds when they hug a character. <3 So. . .I'll play paparazzi, while they do the hugging.

Disneyland Paris to Launch €90 Premier Access for 14 Attractions Soon​

A rumor indicates that Disneyland Paris will be launching a €90 version of Disney Premier Access for fourteen attractions at the resort. The pass could be used once per attraction.

Last year, Disneyland Paris launched Disney Premier Access as their FastPass replacement. Since then, guests have been able to purchase access to an individual attraction’s designated fast lane. This new pass would allow guests to purchase bulk access to multiple attractions.

Though not confirmed, the new pass is expected to launch in the coming weeks.

Does anyone know why the Brave float was cut? I quite liked that section, but understand there were a lot of dancers in that section. You'd think with the film turning 10 this year, they'd keep it?
