I hear you on the Little Girl clothing- I always said when I only had my son that if I was ever blessed with a daughter- I'd go broke! I now have one of each and spend way too much money on clothes!

Love your updates, as always.

As a mother of a little baby girl who is also obsessed with Disney clothing, I have a tip for you. Walmart has a TON of Disney clothes. It's so adorable, and a fraction of the price! One time I even found the exact same onesie that I had seen at Disney, but obviously much cheaper.

Target has a ton of Disney stuff, too- I just got a princess shirt for $2 on clearance!

As a Disney mom of 2 girls let me just say... Yes, you'll love to buy all the Disney princess dresses, my Dd is 3 and has 8 princess dresses. But, I gave up designer purses, and other frivolous spending on myself. And it's so worth it! Love the updates, making me miss wdw.

May 16th, 2013 (Part 3) - Splashing our Way out of MK and Over to Sci-Fi!

So remember how obsessed I was with the balloon I got on my birthday and how it was the old design of the princesses? Well I walked into Magic Kingdom today AND THEY HAD NEW REDESIGNED BALLOONS!!!! I'm not mad because they are extremely cute and they have Rapunzel on them, but I'm SO glad I grabbed one of the last purple ones in existence! I will really miss them.

After a while we wandered over to The Little Mermaid section and got in line to meet Ariel! She wasn't over-the-top enthusiastic but she was cute! She told Lia and Lee-Anne happy birthday and asked if they had been let our of their towers yet, because Rapunzel didn't get let out until she turned 18!

Then we went on the Little Mermaid ride! Prince Eric's castle was looking rather beautiful today!

After we got off the ride, we had a little photo shoot. The sky was GORGEOUS!

From there we went to get Lee-Anne a Mickey bar! My speech teacher from college, Amanda, called me and we talked for a LONG time. She's like the mother of our theatre department and we just caught up on everything. She gave me amazing advice and I love her so much. I'm so thankful for her!

By the time I got off the phone we left the Magic Kingdom at we were at the TTC catching the bus to Hollywood Studios! Soon enough we were arriving for our picture perfect evening! I mean, just look at that sky!

We went through the stores and then made our way to Sci-Fi for our dinner! YAYYY. This restaurant is literally Lia's favorite place in the entire WORLD so I'm super happy we got to go there together.

We were seated relatively quickly and were in the front left of the theater in an orange car. Our waiter was super precious and he took great care of us!

May 16th, 2013 (Part 4) - "Come On You Astro Boys, Come On You Astro Girls!"

I started off with a blackberry milkshake which was their special of the day. I actually REALLY loved it.

Lia got a cherry coke:

And Lee-Anne got sprite in a Little Mermaid cup! EEP!

We watched the lovely Sci-Fi clips and I got pictures of the part that makes me chuckle the most...

Nuff said, okay guys? Those rules apply to this trip report, too!

Also, THE CAT WHO HATED PEOPLE!

I really didn't know what to order. However, Lia gave me this bit of advice:
"You know guys, someday you're going to die so just eat what you want." - @babybritney

So I ended up ultimately getting the usual. I got onion rings:

Lia and I split the HEAVENLY SPINACH AND ARTICHOKE DIP:

Our Sci-Fi experience was perfect. I'm obsessed with the movie in there. I notice little things in it every single time. IT'S SO GREAT.

Very carefully calculating the tip and dividing the check... aka ALWAYS the most difficult part of the meal.

We finished up and then headed into The Writer's Stop. Lia had to try her first carrot cake cookie and she let me have some. YUMMAY.

May 16th, 2013 (Part 5) - Hollywood, 1939.

We went to Sunset Boulevard and obviously the sky looked AMAZING so we took a ton of pictures.

Our favorite ride!

The sky seriously sets the scene. I can't even.

YES YES AND YES.

Tower Selfie!

In the midst of the crowd and the picture taking we lost Lee-Anne. So we called her and she actually started heading in to the theater for Fantasmic. Lia and I didn't want to go yet because it was only 8:20 pm... So we decided to take our chances with Tower of Terror.

We only had about 40 minutes until Fantasmic started and the line for Tower of Terror was posted as a 30 minute wait. Lia was DYING to go on. If you have read her trip reports before, you know how IN LOVE she is with this attraction. It is her absolute favorite thing in the entire world. Not favorite ride, not favorite place... favorite EVERYTHING. So basically, it was a risk we were willing to take in the name of love for tower.

We were crossing our fingers that the wait time was inaccurate. So we entered the queue and kept walking, and walking, and walking... and THERE WAS LITERALLY NO ONE. NO. ONE. It was absolutely incredible. It couldn't have worked out better.

We were loaded into the library and I think there were MAYBE 4 or 5 families with us. AHHHH!!!!!!!!

In the boiler room we got in line and it really only took about 5 minutes. There was this little boy in front of us who was 8 years old and he was riding all by himself. He started talking to Lia and me and he was like "are you girls scared?" And we were like, "no are you?" And he was like "nah, I've been on this three times already. It's the best ride!" Oh my God, he was too funny.

Lia and I were in the back row and the ride started. Our entire car was SO INTO IT. Everyone was clapping and cheering and screaming SO MUCH. Everyone was SO excited!!!!

The ride was absolutely FANTASTIC. It was SUCH a good ride sequence and everyone was just having the time of their lives! When the sequence ended everyone was clapping and cheering again! It was AWESOME.

Not only was it an amazing ride, but our ride picture was HILARIOUS. I don't even know what we were doing but it definitely describes our friendship. FRUMPY!

That was an excellent decision.

If you look closely, you can see a person in that little yellow window! CREEPY RIGHT!?

God, this ride is the BEST.

May 16th, 2013 (Part 6) - "See it in Your Mind and You Will Find, in Your Imagination..."

After Tower we went right into Fantasmic! I took a picture of Lee-Anne's boyfriend for her. You're welcome, Lee-Anne.

Lee-Anne did a fantastic job and got us PERFECT seats!!! She told us to go down the row near the Sebastian side and she would be on the left. We found her and I was SO blown away by our view! It was AWESOME!

The guys doing the Fantasmic pre-show were FANTASTIC. They were having singing contests with people on each side of the arena. Lots of Disney songs were being sung! Then they had a Disney trivia contest at the end, too! The whole place was so into it.

Fantasmic started right at 9 pm and the audience did a slow clap right right into the show. The energy at Hollywood Studios was UNBELIEVABLE tonight. I was just loving it.

POCA PRIDE!

I can't explain to you how happy I am that I captured Aladdin and Jasmine's water mist appearance on camera.

I absolutely LOVED watching Fantasmic with Lia. We had SO MUCH FUN singing and dancing and FREAKING OUT about absolutely everything.

The villains' portion of the nighttime shows always have the coolest lighting.

I don't care how many times I see this show. Every single time is MAGICAL. Every single time is BREATHTAKING. Every single time I feel pure happiness. I was so happy we went to the show tonight!

Fantasmic makes me realize all of the beautiful things that exist in life.

After that we all left Fant feeling AWESOME. There was a big crowd leaving the park but we had to stop and take one last picture!

We took the bus back to Port after that. It pulled right up when we walked to the bus stop which was just great! We went to the gift shop and Lia bought a Mickey phone case! We got back to the room, changed, and then Lia and I went on another pin trading extravaganza in our pajamas. We went over to Riverside tonight and looked in the gift shop and at the front desk!

After that we went back to the resort. Lia brought her pasta from the other day to reheat and then she also got some beingets! Noms.

When we went back to the room I fell RIGHT asleep. It was a big day but I had SO MUCH FUN!!!

I'm glad you posted a bunch of updates because my readers are getting a bit impatient!

We were embarrassing Aladdin fangirls is the truth. Like we talked about him every 30 seconds for the rest of the day. UGH he's so perfect.

Two years?! NO NO NO I would die. actually had a ton of Cheddar Cheese Soup on my previous trip! Just not AT Le Cellier. My last Le Cellier experience was in 2010. I should be your TR fact checker, because these are very important details.

Someone came into my store today wearing a shirt with the bullet train on it and I was like MONORAIL!

I WANT LEFOU'S BREW. I hate everything. It's really not fair. I am sad that you don't like it because you could have it like every day if you wanted, which is exactly what I would do. These are the reasons I want to live near Disney: 1. LeFou's Brew. 2. LeFou's Brew 3. Because it's the best place in the world. 4. LeFou's Brew. 5. Eugene.

I have a grudge against that Ariel. Oh my God, the one I met at MNSSHP makes every other princess friend in the world look like an idiot. I miss her.

I actually didn't like the Carrot Cake Cookie very much! It's like one of the only popular Disney foods I'm not crazy about.

That was seriously one of the best ToT rides of all time, and for me that's really saying something!

And that was also one of the best viewings of Fantasmic ever. You and I were just going NUTS. I miss that night!! And the moments you captured on the boat are PRICELESS. Oh my God. So much fun.

I don't know what lens I have but it's really not too good as far as zoom goes. The only reason I have close-ups is because I crop them on iPhoto. I want to get a closer lens but at the same time I don't want to carry it around.

Oh really? I never could have figured that out. Hmm...I'll have to look into that (but I think eventually I'll wind up getting a longer zoom as well)
