Just an FYI about guided tours at SDL...
It will be interesting to hear about their experience in Shanghai with the guides. $1900 sounds very pricey.

(Way in the distance... roughly in the direction of Aulani... I think I can hear a group ask, "What is a weekend?")
We just realized that we're too lazy for the "lazy river".
Great pictures Kevin. Looks like Sally will have to do some umbrella shopping to accessorize her wardrobe. I think I may have a fez in one of my closets. If not, it's off to fez-o-rama.com for me.
There's an interesting thread about this on the DIS.I don't know how many have heard about the Chinese billionaire who has decided to take on Disney by building multiple theme parks around China, but here's a story/video about one of his parks/venues, Wanda Movie Park in Wuhan, featuring his park's updated version of Soarin', called Hubei in the Air. I have to admit that it looks quite good, and I'm not just saying that because of the Canadian connection.
The folks at Theme Park University just came back from Shanghai Disneyland, and have many interesting posts. 10 Questions about SD: http://themeparkuniversity.com/disney/10-frequently-asked-questions-visiting-shanghai-disneyland/; A Stroll Through DisneyTown: http://themeparkuniversity.com/disney/stroll-disneytown-shanghai-disneyland/; and Exploring the Resort Hotels: http://themeparkuniversity.com/disney/exploring-shanghai-disneyland-resort-hotels/.

I hadn't seen this picture before so figured others might not have either. Shanghai DL Hotel looks beautiful lit up at night.
