AP Rates for AFTER August 4th are...........

jillhou
to access the Passholder site, you must currently have a pass. Your ID# is what you plug in to access the site.
If you currently have an AP, you go to the WDW site and click on "Passholders" in the top, right.
i can check quotes and availability for you if you do not and if you do not want to call right now... you can PM me with your dates and resort choices. However, availability is always changing...

I entered my passholder number and the code FDV was nowhere to be found....found other codes, but not that one and I read it is supposed to be active......maybe that info is wrong???

Thanks for the offer of help!

There is no offer for Aug. 5-Sept. 29th when you enter the Special Offers portion of the Passholder site?

I had been having problems earlier in the week but a few days ago was able to access the offer thru the Passholder email announcing the new Aug/Sept rates. The link from that email is the only way I've been able to "get in".

At the bottom of the offer it says:

Book now at
disneyworld.com/passholder
or call (407) 560-PASS (7277) or your Travel Agent today!

When you call, please be sure to mention booking code FDV.

Perhaps you can try again; i hope you can get something to work.

It is definitely active... I'm sorry you're having trouble :headache: I would just call!

Well they told me that they might ask for your AP when you check in. Now they have never asked for my AP, but I would still have it with you just in case. I don't think you can get the AP at the hotel. I think you have to either get it at one of the theme parks or the ticket and transportation center or downtown disney. I hope this helps.

Would I be able to show the voucher? We probably will get in around 8:00 or 9:00 so I'm not sure if guest relations would be open at DTD. I wouldn't want to have to go to the parks to get it activated because I would have to pay to park. Has anyone else had this experience?

I keep going to the website = I have no passholder email as it is my 18 yr old son's pass right now. Haven't bought ours. I can get into the website fine. I see rated FDR and FDL and maybe there was one more - but no FDV.....which is the only one that will work for me!

Oh well!

Does anyone know the new "time period" for when check-in starts for the new AP rates?? Is it 8/5?? through what date??

And, for those of you who had a AAA reservation first, and then switched to the AP rate, did any of you do this through a TA, or directly through Disney? Did you have to completely cancel your AAA rooms first and then hope to get AP rooms, or were you able to just transfer your rooms to the AP Discount and get rid of the AAA discount.

I am planning to book AAA first, probably through an outside TA who is a Disney specialist, and then wait for AP discounts if they are avail (for 2008). Is it easy to do the switching later?? I didn't think a AAA agent would be too happy about changing that ressie for us later, getting rid of the AAA discount??!!

Does this make sense? Help! Thanks so much!

Is anyone else having problems with the passholder site today??

Im unable to even log in with my pass details now - it says ive entered an invalid ID number? Yet is was working a few days ago?!

I was just able to log on. :confused3 I know it's so frustrating when you know you've entered the info correctly and it says "invalid". Make sure you close the browser before trying again. Also, make sure you don't have that box checked at the bottom of the sign-in screen (the one that says 'remember this #')

I switched from AAA to AP rate directly with Disney - dates were Aug. 15-20, And no I didn't have to cancel my original reservation. I just called and told the CM I wanted to apply the AP rate to my current reservation and she did - she even asked me if i wanted to stay at YC or if I had another resort I was looking to switch to. It was easy as could be and I saved another 200 bucks.

I had trouble last night too, but it was working once again this am.

Does anyone think they will release any more rooms to the AP rate once the free dining promo ends? My opinion--they probably will. I currently have the AP rate at POFQ for the second week of Sept, but would love to go later in Sept.

Keep checking (daily!). I could only get POR last September @ the AP rate, but really wanted POFQ. I checked online EVERY day for several weeks and one day, there it was: POFQ for $99/night!! I kept the page on my computer (just in case!), and called CRO right away! They found it too, so I booked thru them, then closed my browser! ;)

Thanks for the encouraging words. Too bad Regis won't be there!!

I did the same thing. I switched my AAA reservation to AP rates, kept the original reservation number, and saved quite a bit for my 9 night stay.

:goodvibes :goodvibes
