Port of call: Key West. Is it still there?

Someone on this board said the locals were having an election Nov 2020 to see if they would keep it open to cruise ships or not. Anyone following that election? Thanks.

Is a Disney Cruise worth going if you are alone?

This is a bucket list thing for me. Likely this will be my only cruise. Disney is supposed to be the best and I really love Disney. I want midship balcony cabin to myself. so I will be paying double (I think). I want a simple 4 or 5 day Caribbean cruise. Last I checked (before the virus) there...

If Disney re-opened today what's the first thing you'd eat there?

The first thing I would eat would be in the morning at the Kona Cafe. It would be either Tonga Toast or something with eggs and bacon. (my preferances change from morning to morning)... but once IN the park...I must go for a Churro! There is no substitute.

My Fear: All food will be pre-made and wrapped.

at least quick service. At my work all food is individually wrapped. There are no custom sandwiches, or omelets cooked to order. I fear this will be the case at all snack carts, quick service, and stores, possibly even the table service restaurants. to some this might make sense, but I fear...

Sleepy Hollow: are there seats nearby?

I have never had a funnel cake. Ever. I plan to use a few snack credits for breakfast there. I was eyeing the strawberries and creme option. But what would you choose for a sweet tooth breakfast? and, re: the title. is there a place to sit down nearby?

First solo trip... looking for planning advice

I'm a veteran of several solo trips. My advice is to. "Wing it." do not over plan. multi-park tickets are a must. Only make advance reservations for dinner, and then only a few reservations for a few special places. Other dinners can be made on the fly. Use an app to search the area you find...

My goodness! I actually got a reservation at BOG

for a party of one! It's on a Halloween Party night at 8:15...but I thought they would never ever take a res for a party of one. I got it first try. of course it is a ways out.... Tuesday 10/08/19. Now I have to figure out what I want. There is a pork dish or lamb chops that look good...

I just want a good steak. A lot of places serve steak as an afterthought.

This would be with a table service credit. I am not going to pay $200+ just for a steak. Nor do I want to go to Disney Springs. I may not get a T-Bone, but where can I get a good steak on property?

How is Walk-Up (no Res) dining?

I am going on a solo trip in October. When I am solo I don't like to wear a watch or worry about reservations. I typically make little or no plans and wander where I may. I do have the standard dining plan, but I do NOT want to be a slave to reservations. I would love to tour the hotels and...

When are you Going? Post Your Dates and Find A Match!!! Things to do! Peeps to Meet!

October 6-12. Galaxies edge is my priority. But I got a Not-so-scary party admission too. I also plan to hit universal a day or two, but I'll buy my tickets at the universal gate because I will play it by ear see when I am open. Solo trips for me are very laid back, no reservations, no times...

Is the Not-So-Scary-Haloween-Party worth it for a solo trip.

If I paid the extra fee...will it be super crowded? I arrive on a Sunday in October. Monday has no party and I can stay all night. I do NOT need the candy. Nor am I big on meet and greets. The only reason I would go is if the rides are pretty vacant. What is your experience? Is the parade...

Poll: Your Plans for Galaxy's Edge

I am headed for Disney World in Jan/Feb 2020. the park will have just opened and i expect it to be loved to death! Fast pass for one ride the first day and another fast pass the next. Further, I expect the crowds to make the ambiance of the newest park difficult to enjoy. Still I will have a...
