Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

I’m with both of you!! lol No CL that I’ve been to serves Moscato or Sweet Riesling!
Do you mean that you want it or you don't like it, because I have definitely seen Moscato in at least one of the lounges. I'm pretty sure it was CR, and it made up at least 2 of the choices, which caught my attention because I don't like it. CL wine selection seems to be curated to the extent that it is composed of what is cheapest at the time!

I LOVE Moscato and sweet Riesling. I can’t drink anything else. That’s great you’ve seen it!! Maybe I’ll get lucky! It does look like AKL has a “Sweet White”, so I had to run and look up reviews! Most people commented that if you’re looking for it to taste like moscato, you’ll be disappointed. I’ll still give it a try, though. 🤷🏻‍♀️

It seems like AKL has the most consistent offerings with their Indaba wines. Otherwise, it's variable as to what will turn up.

You don’t need cl at CR. Just pop down to Outer Rim or Steakhouse71. Also try to go to bar atCG!

DD and I love TPV in the tower. For the price CL not worth it usually with her being fussy with wine and me on food.

We did do cl my last trip. I got a great rate with Visa discount so the worth factor was there . Also we had a 1st timer and the wow factor was a plus👍
That’s right, I need to dig back to your reports - didn’t you say that you couldn’t make a ham and cheese croissant for breakfast with available items? Am I remembering that correctly? I’m not much of an egg person and prefer an english muffin with meat/cheese so at YC, I was bummed about the lack of sliced cheese in the morning.

ETA: just found a youtube vid from 2 weeks ago, and yep, no meat/cheese at breakfast. They do let you pour your own wine, but hey, so do I when I bring a personal bottle to my room 🤣! Evening offerings still look nice, but I agree that a run down to SH71 lounge for a bite is a nice sub. I have a lake view tower and TPV CL booked, so there’s a pretty major cost difference - think I’ll let CL go. I’m in the parks for party fireworks both nights anyways. Thanks, Trish, for talking sense into me!

@Maxie86 Hey I see you were on today. Do you have any upcoming trips? Mine are in my signature. Have not seen you this year yet!
Hi Trish, Its been a crazy year, I haven't been on here much, I'm trying to catch up. DH was diagnosed with cancer 2 days before our March trip so had to cancel everything at the last minute. Since January its been Drs. appts, tests, surgery, more tests and chemo and radiation treatments. All looks good now thankfully. We have a trip booked December 11-15th YC. It looks like a go at this time. We haven't been since last December. Looks like we will be missing you again. I also have YC booked for the last week in March.

So sorry about all of that . Last I saw you 2 you were celebrating your anniversary at GF RPC .

Hope he’s doing ok and you have great trip! Tell him I said hey!

Anytime!

However each trip is a different set of circumstances . Dd and her guy want to go NYE. Gf and cr are too expensive when I find dates that work. I found courtyard view at Wl for 12/31-1/2. We can boat to mk (missing all that traffic on the roads) and be bop around seven seas lagoon.

Then AP for 1/2-3 …. Wait … how is it only like $100 to upgrade from TPV to a std cl room. Nope it does not say std Atrium it’s std cl and only for 4. Oh ya that’s Tower Cl!

So $780 for that room seems like a decent time to upgrade . 🤞🏻We get TPV!

Every time I say I’m done with cl I randomly find a discount that makes sense 👍

Make no mistake, if I could find a standard CL (Atrium or Tower) room, I’d switch back! That would cut the cost diff back just enough that I could roll with it!

It was a great trip. Really nothing I could complain about or wish went differently, so can’t ask for more!

Overall, we were very happy with both rooms. The service was outstanding at both CL for BWI and CR.

Random thoughts -

BWI - I love this resort and it feels so warm and like home. The Lounge staff is so wonderful and the other guests have also been friendly and pleasant in the evening. BUT, in its current state, it’s hard to swallow the rack rate pricing. The hallway carpet has the same bleach stains (plus some new ones) that it had when we went in March. The rooms are beyond due for a refresh. The food is fine. We won’t be back before the refurb, and will be interested in how it is when it’s finished, but…I just don’t know if it’s really worth it for us right now. Attached a picture of 4204. Tiny balcony, slightly bigger than the balcony of 4202, but not by much.

Biggest pro - the vibe

Biggest con - the inability to get a glass of water between 10pm-7am

CR Tower TPV 1 bedroom - the Tower CL is exceptional. The food is excellent and the service is warm and abundant CMs. The elevators were a little busier than I would have preferred and almost always would make an additional stop or two (guest going from 9 to 4, for example) on the way up or down. I believe the rooms were recently redone, so it will be interesting to see how they age. For example, the ceiling tile in the bedroom near the built in was sagging and wet to the touch. In the shower, the whole tub spigot was very loose, and the shampoo dispenser fell apart, little things like that.

Biggest pro - the view from the massive balconies. And the ability to go into the lounge even when it’s closed to get some water. And did I mention the view?

Biggest con - there is a certain awkwardness about the room. The kitchen is a large but mostly useless area. (And I hit my head every time I opened the low fridge on the ground. I’d open the lever that I thought was the fridge door and bend down, only to discover it was the massive black cabinet above the fridge - that housed 8 coffee cups - and it would open into my head as I was leaning over. I clearly didn’t learn!). But then there was a fire door to go from the living room to the bedrooms. I can guess it’s a code issue, but at the same time, it was a pain to repeatedly open and close.

Happy to answer and questions since we got home a few hours ago and it’s all still fresh.

Any insight on what beers they had available at BWI CL? We’re checking in on Sunday and just curious - gotta get our drink on…
Definitely Stella and SweetWater 420. I think Blue Moon and maybe a Sam Adams seasonal. And I want to say either Bud Light or Miller Lite.

Pro tip - make sure to get a bottle opener to take back to the room with you if you plan to drink Stella in the room. ;)

Just arrived at BWI CL. Everyone else at the airport appeared to be leaving, but we flew in early to beat the storm here lol! Maybe we enjoy CL a bit too much 😂! The lounge is pretty empty right now so I’m hoping we’ll get lucky and it will stay this way!
Enjoy my friend. Get pix!

Totally agree! I have stayed at bwi but with AP discount. The rooms feel so dated.

CR I am not a huge fan of Incredibles but the rooms look nice n fresh in garden wing and tower floors 5-12. Floor 14 has rooms even uglier than BWI. What is with the ikea looking wood ? Lack of color or theming?😅

However the 14th floor has great balconies and a nice quiet lounge and extra outdoor balcony seating if needed.

Thx for posting!

Edit: forget to mention the awesome staff especially Jim👍

How was the food selection at CR? I know it isn't much but can't decide between CR and BC CL ahhhhhhh

Do they all let you go in for water even if its closed?

At MCO headed home - DH and I were at YC CL from 11/4-7. We moved over from a scuba industry convention we were attending the week before, and we wound up getting to WDW at 8:30 am on Friday. They found us a room immediately. We went to Epcot and rode/ate a few things, relaxed, snacked, and went to Homecomin’ for dinner.

I posted images of the Friday apps a few days ago, but those are the only ones I took! Reciting the rest from memory - DH started feeling cruddy on and off Sat morning (though covid negative then, Sunday, and today), so that shifted my attention, and the lounge was insanely busy after Sat morning, absolutely packed to the gills, so really no way to get photos.

Breakfasts: chicken or pork sausage, an egg dish (either seasonal scramble/casserole or frittata -for the former, one involved vegetables and chevre, another was tomato and spinach, for the latter, one was ham and cheese, another was egg white/veggie. Fruits (grapes, pineapple, strawberries/blueberries). Yogurt, granola, hardboiled eggs, oatmeal and accompaniments, one cold meat (ham or roast beef), breads incl bagels, muffins, eng muffins, a pastry, and a hot bread (pancake or cinnamon swirl).

Apps: nice charcuterie selection (one to three cheeses, crackers, one or two meats, crackers, savory breads), veggies and dips, two hot items (recall pot roast and mashed potatoes, pulled pork sliders, baked salmon), one or two salads (thai steak salad, quinoa salad, caesar salad), tuna poke cones one night, and one kids’ item (mini hotdogs, chicken nuggets, mac and cheese bar). Bev cart with 3 red and 3 white wines (incl bubbles).

Desserts: I can’t recall much… one cupcake and one or two other items each night, plus a vegan option

CMs were superb. It was a freaking madhouse, they were run off their feet but communicating constantly eith each other, and nothing was ever empty. They were always kind and as accomodating as possible. I’m trying to figure out how to submit a cast compliment to the whole staff.

Comparison to GF RPC - I’ve done RPC the most since reopening. The offerings there are slightly greater in number and elegance, IMO, but there is a big cost differential as well, and the rooms aren’t as nice. One major winning feature for GF is space, glorious space. So many tables. So spread out. YC lounge definitely got chock full, outside tables included, a few times.

One other thing - DH ate full meals in the lounge when he wasn’t feeling well enough to venture out. I never do this because I am always looking to grab my favorite snack or meal at the parks or a nearby resort, so it was good to see this in practice:). For once, I may have achieved the elusive “worth it” at CL. You will have to carry a lot of small plates, but it is definitely doable.

I have a 2 night stay at CR (CL or just regular tower room, still deciding) in 2 weeks for MVMCP- after that, taking a WDW break until at least Halloween next year, I think - maybe more like Feb 2024 - unless AP sales come back :). That’s the theory, anyways!

Eta - forgot to mention lounge size diffs
Thanks for this info!! Please post after your stay at CR CL.....can't decide between CR and BC ahhhhhhh
