***Official November 2022 Thread***

It's funny you ask this because just last night I was thinking - I have never heard ANYONE talk about this restaurant.
Me either, other than when it first opened. There seems to still be decent availability which makes me wonder why people are staying away, as Les Halles is so popular.

9:40. I get what you're saying about the love/hate part. We're probably not going to rope drop Epcot, it's in the middle of our trip and I know my crowd will need a day to slow down at that time. We also bought Genie+ for the whole trip, so I think we'll be ok.

Were the crepes and galettes big enough to share? It was hard to tell from the photos I saw.
We had two adults and got two crepes, we could have shared for sure, but we wanted to sample both. It also comes with a soup or salad. We probably left 1/3 of each over, but I’m the type that will keep eating if it’s there even if I’m full.

I think a number of people are turned off by the options, I liked it and would go again, but not with my 4 year old, and my 8 year is even iffy. There isn’t a shot my 4 year old would try a crepe even if covered in chocolate so it’s not a place I would book if traveling with her. I think most places have a kids options that for risk of sounding rude ‘very American’ they have chicken fingers or Mac and cheese. So if a place doesn’t have one of these some people just skip it, me included.

Has anyone been to La Creperie in Epcot? I was thinking about dropping it as a breakfast reservation and just eating something quick at Les Halles instead. I keep going back and forth between "book all the things" and worrying that my credit card will burst into flames from overuse, so I'm taking a hard look at all of our dining reservations.
Ugh I'm having the same sort of problem! We decided that table service restaurants aren't really great for our family, but now I'm like BUT WE HAVE TO EAT WITH MICKEY! 😂 I keep wanting to add reservations for places we loved but I need to really balance our dining reservations with our laid back park time. It's hard haha
I ate there back in May for lunch. I enjoyed it as a good spot to sit and take a break. It was a pretty quick meal.

What time is your breakfast? I have a very love hate with breakfast reservations, if your early risers and it’s an early breakfast your missing amazing park time. But if it’s a later breakfast right as the park is getting busy it could be nice.
Our first trip with kids I thought I was being so clever and doing all the prepark opening breakfasts. Well, come to find out we were very slow eaters and missed some early park time with this strategy 😂🤦‍♀️ so this time round we are doing late brunch if we do any, and eating a quick breakfast at the hotel.
We were in the Space 220 lounge and the view is pretty much the same wherever you sit. The layout reminded me of Coral Reef, with the seating areas layered so that the highest floors are close to the lounge and the lowest levels are next to the huge screen. It is all one room with no visible division between the lounge and restaurant.
This is kind of what I figured. It's just screens so I assumed it'd be visible from pretty much anywhere 🤷‍♀️

What time would you suggest we leave HS to make it to a 7:15 pm Biergarten reservation? We would walk/boat/skyliner - whatever is "quickest."

Huge Screen? You must be mistaken. You are in actual space.

Thanks for replying. This is why we choose Disney, they have always been very understanding. We have a special needs kiddo and he lived off of rolls and scrambled eggs on our Disney cruise so I’ve gotten over the embarrassment of that! You gotta do what you gotta do.

So... what's the best plan to watch Fantasmic? I don't even know what time the show begins 🤣. Might have to rearrange our reservation at Hollywood & Vine...
I wish they’d announce the showtime(s). And that they were starting the dining packages right away, I’ve got a Mama Melrose that I’d happily call to convert

Totally agreed that they should have dropped showtimes into MDE when they announced! It's not like they're giving us a ton of notice as it is.

Sounds like you both get to be online at 6am 10/26 to see about dining packages. Ugh!

I would love to know showtimes as well! Dining packages won't be available for our stay, and there's no way my kids would wait in line for 90 minutes, especially late at night. I've been wondering if it's even going to be possible to try for this or if we will be skipping it anyways 😥 Maybe we can catch a recording of it for the kiddos 😂

Oh man, I didn't even notice they aren't starting dining packages for a month.

I wonder if that's actually good because that's more space for standby?

I do feel like it will allow a lot more standby in. Im not sure how they'll handle.with with genie+ either, but I am going to assume the lines will be very very long, especially if they only have one show per night. But as someone else mentioned, might make the rest of the ride lines shorter!

Maybe it’ll be available on Genie+. Wasn’t it a Fastpass in the past? Hoping because we’ll be in the same boat. I’d booked Brown Derby hoping for a package to come up.

We arrive November 3 with first park day being 11/4. I hope this doesn’t make DHS a complete madhouse that week. Even more than it usually can be. We have 2 nights at DHS and another morning plus a full departure day (flight at 10:30 pm) so plenty of time to catch the show. Now if they would release a schedule.

I just spent time on the phone with a dining CM, sad for us since we are there 14-20 NO dining packages! We’ve never not done Fantasmic without one. So we haven’t been back in 13 years. Will they add this to Genie+? Make it an ILL? What can we do to ensure DH with the bad back doesn’t have to wait in line 90 minutes with a bad back? It’s a special trip for us. Thanks for any tips, will ask on another thread too

Our trip starts 11/4, and I’m kind of disappointed that Fantasmic will be starting then. I’m not interested in the show, but I had planned on enjoying DHS in the evening with less crowds before closing. I guess I can only hope that everyone hopping there is there for Fantasmic and the crowds in the lands are not terrible.

Supposedly 8 pm
