"Official" 2022 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party - Let's Boo this!

I probably am thinking of Boo Bash, but it set a precedent so who knows. From what I recall reading, Boo Bash events weren't as crowded as the parties were but I never went to one. Our last MNSSHP- 2017 or 18 as I recall, it was impossible to even move around. We ended up parking at the hub for hours to watch the shows and fireworks and sent runners for food- took them over an hour to get from the hub to Cosmic Rays and back. It was insane and we said then, never again. Yet here I am....
We are wanting a low-crowd experience at MK (if that's possible anymore). My choices are the MNSSHP on Thursday, September 29 or a regular park ticket on Saturday, October 1 (MK's 51st birthday). I guess we could do a PH on Thursday and visit MK in the morning, but we would miss out on all fireworks. Surely the Halloween party will be less crowed, right?

I don't know how crowded Party will be... but in 2019 (last full party year before pandemic) we had regular park tickets to MK on a Party Day and it was amazing... low wait times and crowds through 2 p.m. when we left. Of course, like you said... not sure if that's possible any more...

Does anyone know if CRT is bookable yet? I have been stalking and was wondering how I missed the window to book, when yesterday I couldn’t search for times after 5pm and today there were times but no reservations. Do these open August 9th too?

Yes, to August 9th, but I think also bookable at a different link.

Disney has set up this page for the MNSSHP dinner bookings specifically: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/d...s-not-so-scary-halloween-party-table-service/

is the best place to get the wrist band at the park entrance so you can go down the backstage route and get your bag and some candies.

We plan to get in the park earlier as have access. But head back to the entrance for the backstage bit

Oh, the mini wedding cake! I wanted to try that too. :guilty: I was hoping to see the Headless Horseman dome cake from 2019. Looks like they have eliminated the more impressive & unique treats... likely because they are more labor-intensive. Boo to cost cutting.

I really wanted to try the wedding cake too. :(

The Coco brownie does look pretty good though.

Do they start letting you use the backstage area at 4pm or 7pm? Also, I presume the ride overlays start at 7pm?

I'm the same, really wanted to try these and Constance's cake 😭
We’ve had it. It was fun and yummy. Really bummed it’s not coming back this year! I usually love to anticipate which treats we’re going to get, but this year is a total meh for us. Maybe the almond corn cake, but that’s it. Disappointed.

Ride overlays should start at 7 pm. I believe they open the bypass at 4 pm
What happens at the bypass? Do you have to go there to get something specific for the party or is it a shortcut of some kind?

It’s a shortcut to avoid the crowds on Main Street but you can also pick up your treat bag with your first candy and there are usually some photo spots

How bad will the vloggers be on the first night?

Our only option is to go to the first night, and I'm worried it will be unpleasant.

I assume there will be a lot of cameras on polls, recording everything (which I hate on dark rides and during fireworks).

Do you think we should skip it?

We are laid back and our kids will be most excited for tricker treating and the parade/fireworks

Thanks

If you think your kids will genuinely enjoy it I would go anyway.

In the past you also received special candy that wasn't being handed out anywhere else in the park pre-packaged in a different bag. I remember full size bags of caramel M&Ms when they were new and different Skittles another year. It's always worth it to walk through, even if you were already in MK earlier in the day. I've waited for Jack and Sally by entering MK before 4pm with my AP, got the MNSSHP band in line for Jack and Sally, and proceeded to the bypass after being one of the first to meet them.
