We haven't gotten a lot of instant approvals on Chase biz lately either.

I did get instant approval on the Venture X this morning!! The credit line is absurd LOL. Now how fast can they get it here?

i believe it depends on what your definition of "immediate" family member is. I believe it covers family members + parents but i dont think it covers anyone else outside of that. If u use URs, it should cover.

its probably best if u call the members service and ask them as they would most likely know better.

I called member services and they did confirm she'd be covered. Thanks for the tip!

Has any stayed in a Grand Suite or higher on the RCCL for concierge club access? Trying to figure out if I/we need a (alcohol) drink package or if the concierge will be sufficient. Also, if soda and water will be available all day.

UGH looks like we do have to move the canine neuro visit up, likely to Thursday, from December. That's gonna easily be over $1k, and I have the Venture X coming, but not by then! I hate charges that big with a BIG MSR to meet and I can't put it on the card. :-(

Remind me if I have a 2 SW flights booked for the same day (one at 10 am and one at 4:30 pm), they will cancel the latest booking, right? Booked both while I try to figure out if DS needs to be in school that day.

Watch stocking up if you only use the VGCs with Serve at FD…today for the first time it was showing a $ 3.95 fee to load…the cashier who knows me…thought it was odd and said to try again later today, she had no idea what was going on. Yesterday had no issues.

YIKES! I have $2200 in VGC right now. About $1800 will be for my taxes in Dec. I'll have to go read the reddit thread as I already hated going to FD, so I've been trying to avoid the Staples VGC all together. But I do think I was finally able back in Aug to load them at WM in $99 loads. But I think I'll be holding off on doing the deal at Meijer, unless I get the everywhere cards (they are $200 max load). Those still load at WM.

I don't think there is a set policy on which one gets cancelled. Theoretically they could cancel both, but the DP's I've seen are fairly split on whether they cancel the older res or the newer. All the DP's are fairly consistent that if it happens it happens 36-48 hours after the second booking is made.

Well of the pile I have right now, it's for taxes, but I do have about $400 leftover I planned on loading on Serve. But I normally try to meet the Hilton FNC through the help of MS. Sooooooo, I'm hoping something works out.

Sending positive thoughts for your pup. Saw a comment on reddit that C1 sends premium cards via FedEx overnight. Maybe there's a chance you'll have it for the visit. Alternatively, I bet if you pay with one card, you may be able to call back a few days later and ask them to reverse and apply to a different card.

It really is an excellent offer. My P2 was just approved for the Gold card, and I’m excited for the 8x on grocery/dining on my Gold card now. Especially since I just finished the elevated 10x on his Platinum card. Only dropping from 10 to 8x MR softens the blow

Bought an Apple Watch 7 from BB with in store pickup. Picked it up last week. Got an email (maybe yesterday) that I had to pickup my order which I ignored (I think this has happened to me before with BB orders that I've already picked up). Today I got an email that my order was canceled. I had used a Chase offer so if they refund me, Chase will claw back the offer then when they recharge me I'm out $22

It appears cell phone coverage is going away, does that change your tune at all?
It looks like the $49 card had it too, as I got 4 emails for all 4 of our accounts, stating cell phone coverage is ending. I see the free nights are the same value on both cards, need to decide if I really want to pay 4 fees per year to IHG, and need to decide soon.

In my never ending quest to get to London for Spring break next year, I am considering a 7 am flight. Ugh. We would definitely stay at a hotel at the airport, so anyone ever stay at LHR Terminal 2 Hilton Garden Inn?

No, but FWIW we did stay at the Hilton LHR terminal 5 hotel before a morning flight. This was the year that BA had a system outage and our flight from Glasgow to LHR and all other flights were cancelled too. No trains that would get us there in time either. So we took a 6.5 hour Uber from Scotland to London and got in very late, sometime around 1 am. The hotel was overbooked and they wound up putting us in a 1 bedroom suite with no AC and brought in fans. It was very warm. It hasn't turned me away from airport hotels. I think the end of that trip was just destined to be a cluster.

We have stayed at the Hilton T4 many times- and we love that hotel. We have never stayed at the T5- pretty far away. I would highly recommend the T4 Hilton if you are a Diamond and can get lounge access- one of the better lounges as far as quality of offerings across all the Hiltons we have stayed at.
