In line waiting for AK bus at Riverside and there are people that are here waiting for a DHS bus saying that they were going to ride ROTR today. I asked if they had FP from yesterday and they said no that this was their last day and they were saving the “best for last”. They knew about BGs but thought they were available all day. I had to poop on their party. No time even listed for a DHS bus here. I doubt they get there before 7:15.

That's unfortunate.

Much better morning! Arrived around 6:20, zipper through no bag line, tapped through around 6:35. Parked ourselves near Brown Derby and are just waiting to test our luck.

Way busier today than on New Years Day. Opened tapstyles around 6:15-20ish. DD and I Had trouble getting in but DH got it on Verizon, BG 65 at 7:02. We were on ATT. Was opposite the other day where DD and I were able to get through and DH wasn’t. Stand by lines are crazy for RnR and ToT. Got back on app at 7:10 and only backup boarding groups available.

And I’m traveling with 7 teenagers who ALL loved it enough to give up sleep and ride it again. Disney knocked it out of the park with this ride. Amazing.

27 - only two of the three of us were recognized but a quick trip to the blue umbrellas got our third added easily!

Did you immediately add the two who were recognized and then have the blue umbrella assign your 3rd to the same group? We're a party of 8 next week and want to have the best plan of what to do in case someone isn't recognized.

We all logged in to DH account because he manages the entire party. So three of us. Would’ve done more but we couldn’t remember his password

Has anyone done rider switch with RotR? We will be a party of 7 adults and one infant. Best scenario would be to have 4 of the adults ride while the other 3 waited and then have the 3 get to ride without having to go through the entire queue. Will they allow this? Or will both groups need to wait in the regular line? I know how it normally works on other rides. Just not sure if RotR is being handled differently.

They can apply a complimentary ticket cash value of 0.00 to your AP, sure. If you can't use it because you're already an AP holder, pass-it-forward would garner you magic pixie dust.

I was trying to pass it forward/reassign to friends and family members as soon as we got them, so my son could bring a friend one day, but I don’t see a way to do it. It has our names on them and isn’t letting me reassign

Just checked my app from home and says BGs 129 and higher are backup groups and it is still open for joint a backup group

Now big variable is how many people are in a group (they could have reduced that number for today) but looks like a few more regular groups given out today vs yesterday and thought it would have been lower given the issues (and thus FPs given out) yesterday

BTW says they are calling groups 8-23 currently

YES. I knew worst case scenario I’d send DH and DD and skip it myself.

Just checked and up to 26, but not saying boarding groups open now.
