Chick-Fil-A invites customers to visit for National Sandwich Day (on a Sunday)

It's true about their customer service. It is top notch. Mostly young people too which is nice to see as compared to what one can see working at other fast food places, tattooed pierced drop outs mostly, in Fla anyway.
There are non in the area I've been spending most of my time at. Was in Dallas airport four times in the last few weeks. There is one there and I was looking forward to stopping in but couldn't due to time. I'll be where there are plenty in a few weeks and am definitely going to get my fill.
Yeah those kids with the tattoos. They're totally inattentive. Why I bet they'd forget what day it is and not even bother to look at the calendar.
OH WAIT!!!

Can somebody tell me what is so great about this place? We recently tried their food at MCO. Found their „ customer service“ standard fast food and their food ok. I actually prefer Wendy‘s Spivey chicken. My son wanted to try their food ( we live overseas and always here about them). And was underwhelmed with their nuggets.
Truth be told, I wouldn't base my opinion on any fast food product by what you'd get in an airport location.

I like the Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich because it's the only fast food chicken sandwich that's not spicy (at all). I don't know why almost all food locations (fast food as well as sit down restaurants) have decided that everyone wants hot, spicy food.

I certainly don't get it. Without getting too political, a lot of it seems to be based on ideological grounds even if they don't specifically market for a particular customer base. The chicken seems to be average and the bread is kind of meh. To get any decent flavor requires use of their myriad variety of sauces, although they're super heavy on sugar.

Their customer service May be standard where you are from but far, far from it here.

Standard fast food service here includes barely telling you how much your order is, grunting at the customer, not saying thank you, making a customer beg for ketchup and salt (especially salt at McDs) and almost always getting the order wrong.

Chick Fil A is the exact opposite of all of that.

No, not at all. Their service is impeccable, their stores are extremely clean, they do everything possible to make their drive thru run like a well oiled machine. And their food is good and fresh. Always.

Compared to the lady at McDs the other evening that waited 20 minutes for a sausage McGriddle and the manager acted like it was completely normal.

Well, it probably was. We stopped at McD's today for lunch. I asked for a sweet & sour sauce and was told "OK, I will tell them at pick up" (they now deliver "eat in" food to your table, no more waiting around). Guess what? When the order reached the table = no sweet and sour sauce. So up to the counter I went, and the order taker said (before I even reached the counter to ask) "Sweet and sour sauce, I'm sorry, I didn't tell them"....

totally normal.

I've tried their sandwiches and was totally underwhelmed. It certainly wasn't a horrible experience, but I didn't see the value and the service didn't seem much different than a competently run fast food place.

We are lucky to have Canes here and I feel their service and cleanliness rivals CFA any day.
I tried Canes when they opened one here. I wasn't impressed. Besides the fact that the counter person was only semi-verbal, and they had no straws, the cost of the items was higher than I could get a similar product at another fast food location.

I find their “amazing” customer service to be completely insincere and irritating. Food is ok. Nothing amazing.

Had a great lunch there today! (not often, as we do not have one nearby)
Everything was even better than usual.
My husband really loves it, but today it was so good, even I was impressed. Tried the Mac-N-Cheese too.
And, even with the slip-up in that promo, It is great to know that all of their wonderful employees can look forward to a weekend day off, every week!!!

I didn't hear any 'gross' comments at all. Not one word.... We had added a side of the Mac, and somehow it was substituted for the fries, as the side. When they personally hand delivered our food to the table, and we noticed, a free order of fries was delivered INSTANTLY, with a big smile!!!
I would have a hard time giving consideration to anyone who could even begin to use the word 'gross' to describe anything re: this restaurant.
Gotta love Chick-Fil-A !

yeah that CFA gross customer service.
How dare a company train their employees to be courteous and those employees actually are.
We don’t have any here but the ones i have been to have been great, food and customer service wise. But I’m weird like that, I don’t have s problem with pleasant cashiers.

I find it insincere. YMMV
