Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORTS Information & Questions

Speaking of dogs at the Yacht Club... Would they charge me 3 times as much if I brought my 3 headed dog Fluffy?
She doesn't bark much, but when she does it's in stereo or more like trereo.
~NM
PS. She is especially fond of Mousekeepers. Nom, nom, nom...

I think that's what they call a "Three Dog Night"? I know, go to my cage. That's all I got, I'll show myself out.

We are supposed to go Thursday! But... I blew out my knee and sitting here trying to figure out how to salvage and enjoy the pool and Epcot while on crutches.
I know I would lose my flight and one's nights deposit at this point.
Feel better! At least the pool is amazing and would be a great place from some R&R!

Sorry to hear. You should still go and relax as much as possible. Any day at WDW is better than being at home thinking about what could have been.
Maybe rent a wheelchair or ECV?
I hope you have a great time! Have fun!

Thanks!
Decided to go!
Having a wheel chair delivered to bell services, have crutches (to hopefully get into pool), a knee brace and shot of something into the knee.
Dreading the airports but waited so long to try this resort!

Good luck and have a fantastic time!!! If you call your airline they can arrange a wheelchair for you at the airports, we had to do this too when my husband broke his foot at WDW.

What are the rules on bringing in drinks to SAB (or any of the BC pools for that matter)? Like can we bring our own beer, wine, sodas, waters, etc.? Is there a no glass rule? Just want to make sure before I start finalizing our amazon prme now cart :)

Another newbie quick question (can you tell our trip is drawing near haha). If we grab hot breakfast (mickey waffles, egg sandwich, etc.) from the marketplace at BC where is a good place to go sit and eat? Are there tables around the resort inside/outside that people usually use for that?

I just saw that they are allowing reservations now for Oga's Cantina for December. It says it opens at 6am on Dec 8th. Is the Extra Extra Magic hours being extended to December??

There are a few places. There are a couple of hightop tables right outside the entrance of the Marketplace closer to BCV. There is also outdoor seating just outside of the Marketplace along the way to BCV. Finally there are a couple of small tables along the windows in the Solarium as well. We'll be there next Saturday!

Almost there. 1st leg of the journey done, 3 hour drive to the airport. Early start tomorrow 3am. Got 2 flights tomorrow with a 3 hour layover. By the time we get to YC and to bed, it'll be 24 hours on the go tomorrow. Wish me luck lol.
See ya real soon. X
Safe travels! Have a wonderful vacation!

Wow that's quite the hike. I thought a 9 hour drive was bad. Hope you have a great trip!!

6 days away and I’m nervous! I try to plan down to the finest details, checking every potential opportunity, EMH, painting hour, cabana rental, ordered cheap matchy shirts from Old Navy, my mom was sweet and called to order us all matchy shirts- I assumed they were Mickey or Minnie- but they were all Auburn University shirts (our 2 girls go there) and my Dad and I went there- so now we will be advertising football kickoff and must get family pics decked out in our orange and blue...I guess it’s just getting real and it’s bringing up scary memories from our last failed family trip. Does anyone have any positive vibes/pixie dust/or ideas to blow away these jitters??? I know we will love BC but I think our whole family is a bit apprehensive for things to go well- kind of like driving again after a bad wreck...are there any fun things your family does that is a tradition that makes you smile?? We need more of those to consider!!❤️❤️❤️

Our family started adding a pool day in between our park days. We do parks 4 days, then pool day, and 3 more park days. On the pool day we eat dinner at one of the resort restaurants. It definitely helps us rejuvenate and take the time to enjoy our resort.

ADRs are available for all dates (up to 180 days--just like regular dining) after opening on August 29, 2019. I booked ours for October. If they are showing availability at 6:00 a.m. in December, it would appear that the EEMH will be extended although I just read elsewhere that while it showed 6:00 a.m. ADRs, people couldn't book earlier than 9:00 a.m. Your guess is as good as anyone's.

First off, we'll need pictures! Secondly, the tropics are quiet so know major weather disruptions! Thirdly, there are so many different directions you can go when staying at the BC that everyone will be lost in their own world..... or maybe just lost? Have fun! It will all work out!
