Annual Passholder Previews REGISTRATION LINK IN FIRST POST-EVENT FULLY BOOKED

Exactly, I don't think it was consistent. During my AP preview slot, I got a paper FP for FOP and was only allowed to ride once. I could have ridden NRJ multiple times, though.
I'm not going crazy then :D
I do remember the paper fp for CM preview (I was one of my friends plus 3) but don't remember how it worked for AP

I wonder why I couldn't book anything but just the land and SR for the 17th almost an hour ago? I had 4 people, not 3, but surely that didn't matter that much, particularly since it was a little while before you got in. Kind of annoying, but nothing I can do anyway...

Same here. I was thinking maybe I did something wrong b/c it didn't let me book an experience. It was just the Land. But I don't care if I don't get into either experience. MFSR and the Land itself and we'll be happy.

I spoke with a CM at the VIPassholder help desk this morning, after I saw the early postings of those who were able to register. The CM insisted that I should not believe that anyone was able to register, at that point, and that nothing had yet gone live (even though I read the CM the posts and confirmations). Do they really not know what is happening, or are they sworn to secrecy? Honestly, the boards are a much better source of info, much of the time.

One hour later, I was able to register, myself, thanks to everyone here. I still have not received an emailed invite.
They really do not know

During Pandora they gave out a paper fp with the time you could ride FoP, only once during your preview time, but although there was a set preview time they did not make people leave after their time was over

When we did Pandora we did get the paper FP but no one looked at it or took it. We rode FOP multiple times and Navi' only once because we also wanted to eat at the Canteen.

I wonder ... since there is only one ride this time ... that they might enforce riding only once .... especially since you had to sign up for a specific combination of things.

Gonna depend totally on how many are at each time slot.
There's no reason to enforce 1 ride if there's so few people the ride sits unused for period during the hour.

One last question for today (I hope). From Pandora experience, how far in advance do we need to get there to line up to get in the land in order to ride? I have a 9am slot. There are extra magic hours my day, so park will open at 8am. Is this going to be a situation where we need to get to DHS hours beforehand and wait until touchpoints open and then head right to the land? Or, is it more relaxed (as if anything is really relaxed in Disney). Again, trying to be prepared and set expectations for the DH and DD. Thank you.

No need to get there early at all. This is not anything like an EMM with thousands at your time. The only people in GE will be those in your time slot. And anyone with the reservation gets in. You aren't having to wait in line and hope you get in

Ahh, that's a good question. This is my first preview like this, so I'm interested to hear.

Again, so much drama (undue) caused because Disney can't keep their info straight. It should have never been an issue with them simply saying that you had to be activated to enter, not sign up.
We don't know if Disney only wanted to offer the preview to guests with an activated pass and IT can't enforce the requirement or IF Disney is misstating policy.

Kind of reminds me of the discussions regarding bringing back refillable mugs for future visits. Not allowed but not enforced until Disney decided enough and installed the current drink dispensers.

I would treat it like you were doing rope drop. Be at the entrance at least 45 minutes before the park opens. The DL previews and registration period showed that the ride got a boost in wait times at the beginning of a session but then wait times went down toward the end.
