Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORTS Information & Questions

The maximum you can charge to your room at the YC/BC Deluxe before the charge is run on the credit card on file is $2000. We always charge everything to our room using our Magic Bands and then I pay the balance down with Gift Cards every few days. You can not have a credit balance on your account, but you can pay existing charges with the cards.

It seems like I read a post a couple years ago on one of the other boards that said once your total charges hit a certain amount, it would be charged to the cc on file. I can't remember what that amount was now. Maybe $500? Anyway, I will be sure to keep an eye on my charges and make sure it doesn't get too high before stopping at the front desk just in case.

Yes, and it depends on the resort level. Last I heard - Value/$500. Mod/$1000. Dlx/$1500. Sometimes the charges are put through if you are close to those limits, though. I was just going to stop by the desk every day or two to pay it off with my Rewards card and GC.

Edit after Hopefully's post. WDWmagic had a blurb.

Value & Mod - $1500
Dlx - $2000

I was flipping through old vacation pictures and realized we had used bed rails at CBR. I don't remember if we brought them or the resort had them? Does YC offer bed rails? Thanks!

YC has bed rails. BC and BCVs have them too. I think that they are at all the resorts. :)

Thank you so much for the information. I will be there for 7 nights so I will be sure to check my balance and put down some gift cards at least every 3 days just in case.

In exceptional circumstances they'll let you have a a credit.

We moved from Poly to BC and the credit had to go back to us. But we'd have to pay two lots of currency exchange that way to use the money during our trip. So they credited the account with over $500 for us to spend using our MBs

As reported on Friday, the long awaited showers for SAB are close to complete. As of yesterday, 5/8 they were still not open but I did get some pictures of what you can expect to see if you need to utilize them.

So happy to see these showers. We have a late flight on our departure day. Planning on parks in morning then some pool time. This will really help get ourselves together when we are ready to leave

can anyone help me out with menus? I never really looked at the menus until I just heard there were some changes. I just checked captains grill breakfast and it no longer lists any buffet, we loved it 3 years ago so is it no longer being offered with the new location? Same kind of question about cape may breakfast buffet, the menu , while I know its a buffet it looks like the selection has been drastically reduced. We have biscuits and gravy eaters in our house and I am not seeing that on the menu. I also remember fritatas and potatoes. Is it just a vague menu or has something changed?

While Captain's Grille is under refurb, it's moving to Ariel's at BC. The buffet will not be offered while at this temporary location.

Yes, I think it's just vague. I've noticed that the buffet choices listed on the WDW site are not complete compared to what others report. There's usually more variety in person. However, you can't really count on a specific item to be included for a variety of reasons. I wouldn't book it if one particular dish is a must.
