My mother is 91. She is a few years older than Jackie O would've been, so they were contemporaries. I went to say hello to her today and one of the first things she starts talking about was how nice Melania's dress was! I didn't even know she watched the Inauguration! I'm trying to remember when there was ever this much positive feedback about any celebrity dress in the U.S. lately? Can anyone else recall?

The day after the election, Mrs. Pence called the seamstress who designed her wedding dress 30 years ago & asked her & her fellow seamstresses at "Something Wonderful" to design a total of 8 dresses for her & her daughters for the different Inauguration ceremonies. These ladies from Indiana spent over 470 hours designing & carefully & painstakingly hand-sewing the dresses with custom bead work & other special touches... And, as they labored, they sewed their love into their creations. Then these small town Indiana ladies watched as their creations were displayed on a world-wide stage.
