So, I've already moved rooms once (not Disney's fault! And they helped how they could) and now 24 hours in this room and it's infested with ants. WWYD? I'm afraid I'm going to be labeled a problem guest but I don't want to bring ants home in my stuff!

Go down to the front desk and explain your problem. Not blaming Disney or the ants but they will understand you don't want to take them home with you (the ants, not Disney).

Go to the front desk, tell them that there are ants in your room, and have them move you to another one. You're not going to be labeled a problem guest, and this is an issue that Disney needs to take care of before the infestation gets worse.

An ant infestation? That's a quick trip to the front desk issue.

You posted before about noisy folks smoking outside your room. You moved from that room even though it meant giving up the connecting room you had with your parents. You are also worried about noise at new room location being by the pool. I think maybe a WDW vacation is not for you. Or maybe you should try a deluxe resort.

This is my 4th Disney trip in 6 years. My second in the last year! I'm an annual pass holder. I've never changed rooms before and this is my second moderate stay. It's just been bad luck. I resent the insinuation that the problem is with me.

I don't know anything about that posting, but ants are certainly a valid reason to switch rooms. No one wants to go on vacation and find their snacks they packed or sugar they brought for coffee filled with buggers.

Well, it really doesn't matter whether one is staying deluxe, moderate or value, a bug problem is something that most would just go straight to the front desk to get resolved.
Doing nothing would only allow the problem to get worse.
Florida is full of bugs. It's not surprising that sometimes there is an issue.
The quicker you let them know the quicker they can help.

Go to the front desk and explain the situation. Also explain because of your breathing problems, they can NOT fumigate while you're out. Ask to be moved due to the bugs. They usually take bed bugs very seriously. I would expect they should take an ant infestation in a similar manner. This one's on Disney, and they need to know so they can fix it.

THIS!!!!!

Disney does not want you to be unhappy- or stay in an unhealthy space. Let them know immediately.

They will take care of bugs quickly. Just call the Lobby. We ran into the situation as well. However, we arrived at the room about 11PM. Turned the lights on and my DD opened the cabinet and fridge. About 50 roaches scattered everywhere in the room. I called the Lobby. They said they would have someone there about 3AM. I explained that we just got there, are not sleeping with the bugs, and definitely not waiting until 3AM. They send a cart to get us and take us to a new room while maintenance was checking the new room to make sure there were no bugs. 11:45PM we are at the new room and crashing.

Definitely call the Lobby. No where on your reservation does it state you get to sleep with insects. If you are gone during the day, they can take care of it very quickly, efficiently, and with no odor.

I had a similar problem at CBR. But it was only a few roaches, and I called, Disney sprayed, and I didn't see any more. 50? I would have woke the neighbors screaming!

... and you're PAYING for that room is not like is for free, yes is very unfortunate that once again you have to complain but you deserve their best, because is not free, hope you get a great room and wish you a wonderful trip

Even 1 I can wake the neighbors screaming!! I would take my blanket and sleep by the pool if Disney didn't move me. LOL

I use to live in FL, roaches are everywhere. Most likely the previous occupant spilled something in the cabinet or behind it. Disney is quick to respond, just not at 11PM at night. The spray they use is almost odorless and can be masked with an air freshener.
