So DH and I are heading on DCL then 9 nights at AKL to celebrate our 20th Anniversary this fall! I am looking for suggestions for a special dinner once we are back on land. We have already eaten at many restaurants in WDW, BOG, O'Hana, Boathouse, Le Cellier, Cape May, Boma, Narcosse, Most of the World showcase (except mexico - allergic to avocado.) So just looking for suggestions anywhere you think would be great!

I have read about a Wanyama Safari and dinner but did not see a price, anyone have experience with this one?

Thanks in advance!!

We did private dining at the Grand Floridian for our 10th anniversary. It was amazing, our own private balcony facing MK with a perfect view of Wishes and the Lagoon light show. The food was amazing and the service discreet and efficient. I'd definitely recommend and can dig out the booking details if it is of interest?

Would love to get the details!

Private dining at GF sounds amazing! Jiko at AKL is wonderful. Tiffins in AK is really good and getting drinks at Nomad Lounge before dinner is fun. We love Artist Point and Cali Grille is good and the view is stunning!

We did Wanyama Safari last April for a date night and we LOVED it - a truly unique experience! Although some of these suggestions sound pretty fabulous- especially the private dining at the GF! Anyway, I think I read that it's $210/person. I don't remember it being that much last year but not sure - can't remember if it has a disney visa discount either? But even at that price, you're getting the private safari too, which is pretty amazing, if you're into giraffes- and I am!

One thing to remember, however, is that it is a small group thing - I feel like it was 12 people, maybe? You go on the safari together and then eat family style at Jiko. So, if you want your anniversary dinner to be private, gazing into each other's eyes, this might not be the event for you, as there was much small talking with strangers involved!

For my upcoming trip with my DD (just her and me) in March, I have Sunday brunch at the California Grill booked to celebrate her 18th birthday. Have you considered that for one of your special meals?

DH and I picked Narcoses for our Anniversary meal this coming April.
That's only because we haven't been there yet
My other choice would be Shula's

The brunch menu looks really good! I am going to put brunch on the list!!

I have not heard of Shula's where is it located? We have eaten at Narcoses for my in-laws anniversary, we really enjoyed our meal!

I know it's already been mentioned twice, but my DH isn't impressed by much, and even he thought Cali Grill was awesome.

DH is worried about dinner here due to the sushi, my avacdo allergy is bad, and he always says he doesn't want to risk anything. The menu looks amazing!!

Shula's is over at Swan/Dolphin (I always mix up which is in which but it's there)

Money No Object: Victoria & Albert's
Money an Object, but Willing to Splurge: Artist Point, Jiko, CA Grill
A Little Easier on the Pocketbook: Il Mulino, Sanaa
While onboard DCL: Palo; or if it's the Dream or Fantasy, then definitely Remy.

I'm hoping to book the Highway in the Sky Dining event for our anniversary in October, although they keep changing things around with it so who knows what it will be if it is offered then?
