"Official" Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2016 - Have Yourself a Very Mickey Christmas.

Where is your favorite place to watch the castle stage show and the parade? I am trying to figure out if I should stay in one place or not watch them back to back so I don't have to worry about one spot that is best for both. Also, does Holiday Wishes have any projection on the castle and if you watch it from behind the castle can you hear the music?

Is the prince and princess meet and greets two groups together so if you wanted to meet all four isn't it two separate waits?

What time has 7D been meeting and how long has the line been? I would love to meet them but since my almost 8yo wants to meet a prince I don't think 7D will be happening.

I am wondering what time I should line up for following:

10pm - Wishes (I wanted to watch from Main St by Casey's Corner (not in the grassy area). I was planning on watching the 8:55pm VoicePlay before this.

11pm - parade (I wanted to get front row by Town Square). I was planning on going right after fireworks to get a spot. Is around 10:20 enough?

Thanks!
11:00 parade won't get to town square until after 11:15. You should be fine grabbing a spot closer to 10:45.

We waited almost 2 hours to meet Aurora and Snow with their princes tonight it was such a nightmare. Got in line at 7:45 and had to wait through 2 breaks. Both breaks were supposed to be 15 mins and one ended up being 30. Not a happy camper!

Tiana and Rapunzels line has also been about an hour all night. Cinderella and Elenas fluctuates but definitely goes down as the night goes on.

Mary and Berts line...just try and show up a few mins before their set and you should be ok.

My DH and I are going tomorrow night after I get off of work. Does anyone know what, if any, magic shots are available? We're trying to decide if we want to spring for a one-day memory maker or not. Do they even still offer it? Because I can't find it anywhere on the website or app.

Hi everyone. I am taking a solo mommy stress free trip next weekend. I haven't purchased a ticket yet and I am tossing up the Friday night Christmas party and the magic kingdom day on Saturday. What are the perks to the party? What would you recommend a mom who needs a break to do? I'm not super interested in rides and characters (well maybe 7 dwarves if it's not crazy long), just taking in the magic and atmosphere either day. Suggestions?

Side note, I've done the Halloween party a couple of years ago with my daughter and we got bags and to trick or treat, is there a special thing you grt for attending the party?

Okay great thanks!! If people are already lined up, will there be any indication of who it's for? Or do the same and ask?
There won't be any indication who the line is for you will have to ask the people in line or a CM. For MNSSHP Minnie/Donald/Daisy were meeting in Casey jr area and the line formed along the brick wall (we sat on it waiting) at about 6:45/6:50 after asking a couple CM where to line up (given wrong info initially and were starting the line on the opposite side near the train station/barn stormer). Until 7 when that characters actually arrived there was no indication who/what the line was for without asking.

That was us the first night and the Snow's prince didn't come back out. I had a little one dressed as Snow White and she was sad because she wanted to meet him. I was pretty annoyed myself.

You can only purchase the one day MM via the app after you've had your first picture of the day taken. So you could actually wait till the end of the night to purchase if you wanted, and see what kind of photos you get.

Last night was the second party we've ever been to. We went to MNSSHP 3 years ago in late October. This party was so so much more crowded. At first we blamed it in the 4-7 overlap, but it didn't change. I didn't notice an issue with wristbands. People for the party went in through specific turnstiles and those people got bands. If others wandered over, I don't know.

As a PP mentioned, Jack Skellington didn't come out until 7, maybe a few minutes after even. We hadn't gotten in line until about 6, when we originally wanted to run there first thing. We go to hike around 8:30. We were going to get off line many times. He was a great meet and very interactive, but I wouldn't do that again. I guess we did no worse, even better, than if we had gone there first thing since he didn't come out early.

We saw Scrooge McDuck. I don't really know how long we waited. I think maybe an hour or slightly less. Seemed like nothing after Jack. We went right before Holiday Wishes and watched the fireworks from the line which was fine for us.

Treats report- the Almond tree cookie they give you when you walk in was a favorite of my family and strangers I met lol. It was soft and chewy. I don't love Almond flavor but it was still yummy. Gingerbread molasses cookies and hot apple Cider I'm Liberty Square were delicious! Big, soft, and chewy and the apple Cider was very good. (I honestly was expecting warm apple juice so pleasantly surprised.) We skipped on the blue snow cone to keep sugar consumption down haha and it's just too messy. Sugar cookies were not worth it - straight out of a package. Hot cocoa and peppermint bark cookies in Tomorrowland were my absolute favorite. Like chewy sugar cookies with piece of peppermint. I was so cookied out by that point though. Never tried the snickerdoodle.

We didn't really watch more than welcome minutes of the first parade. There were crowds but not as bad as I expected. The second parade was obviously not as crowded as the first, but way more crowded than I expected. All the kiddies stayed out late last night! (Mine own included.) The parade was really awesome, but about 5 minutes too long for my DS7.

We weren't planning on going to the Tinsel club dance party thing but passed by and DS7 wanted to go in. It was so cute. Fun pumping music and the reindeer and a polar bear. It was not crowded at all when we went. A little character interaction. We loved it.

Miscellaneous info. Rides had short wait times overall. Snow on Main Street was beautiful and a great surprise since I forgot about it and hadn't told my family about it. Atmosphere was beautiful and festive. But oh so crowded.
