"Official" Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2016 - Have Yourself a Very Mickey Christmas.

Look for suggestions on how long the wait is for my list of MUST DO & Wanna do Characters:

MUST DO
1) Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater
2) Santa Goofy near Barnstormer

Wanna Do (IF time allows)
1) Scrooge McDuck
2) Nick Wilde & Judy Hopps
Last year Mickey did NOT have a special party costume, if that makes a difference? His wait will not be bad at all.

The Ducks' line will average 30-40 minutes.

Assuming Santa Goofy will be similar?

Sounds like the line for Nick and Judy started out 2 hour + then tapered down to an hour the rest of the night.

According to disney character guide on twitter...Prince Phillip is now meeting in his dragon slaying outfit...sooo much better

OMG I love this!! Thank you for posting!! We were going to skip them at the party since we will see Aurora at CRT on a different night - but now this is a must-do! Phillip is my favorite prince and looks awesome!

Nick and Judy's line wasn't terrible all night (hour most of the night) I think a partly because so many people didn't know they were there.

they switch off with bears at the dance party in cosmic rays

Ok, so I'm embarrassed to say that up until now, I actually thought these were real reindeer :rotfl:That being said... I did a google search and came up with some really adorable ones and some that were... slightly terrifying. Does anyone have a pic of them? I will still be super excited if they are as cute as some of the google results!

So my first real thought from the party last night was that it was super obvious how many characters have been cut in the last few years.

Snow White's prince wasn't there for the last set or two for some reason which was a bummer for all of us in line.

I'll post my thoughts on cookies/drinks later once we start our drive home.

Parade was (as usual) the winner with my kids followed by nick and Judy.

Thanks for the info Rachael. Can you explain to me where the princesses who meet outside of the hall meet? We want to meet Aurora and Phillip, but I'm not sure where Fantasyland wall is. Thanks!

Right behind the carousel. Aurora/Phillip are with Snow Whiter/Her Prince (does he have a name?)

It was reindeer and bears last night. Never saw P&F

Great, thank you! I have no interest in Phineas and Ferb and was going to mark it off the list if it was still them. I'll check it out now.

Did anyone else NOT watch the live feeds and videos last night?? I started to, but realized since this is my first MVMCP, I want to experience it in person for the first time. It sure was tempting though!!

I didn't. I only watch new Disney shows, parades, etc. AT Disney. It was pure torture scrolling through it all on Facebook but I'm sure it will be worth it!

I was going to but I think I want to be surprised when I go. And I think it will be more exciting not to watch. I am going to read a lot of blogs to find out where things are, find out where I want to be for the parade, and that type of planning stuff. I think I'm okay with seeing pictures but will avoid all the videos.

I didn't read through all posts but is there a map of where the characters are meeting and what times they are out?
How long do ppl normally wait for 7 dwarves? That is my only "must have" meeting!

I think you can actually accomplish all of these and not take up too much party time. I'd line up for Nick and Judy as soon as CMs start allowing people. Maybe around 5? If you are one of the first to meet them you'll be done around 6:30. I'd then go and line up for Scrooge as that will most likely be the other longest line. You should be one of the first groups in line for him if you line up a little after 6:30. You'll then be done with him right around 7. I'd go straight to Santa Goofy since you'll be right there anyway. Then meet Mickey during the parade that you aren't watching. His line is always short during the parades.

For the dessert party, is there anything you need to do outside of the park gates? Do you pick up your credentials at Tomorrowland Terrace restaurant any time after 4:00? Do all members of your party need to be there to pick up the credentials or is just the lead guest sufficient?

Nick and Judy are a must for us. We have a two and a half year old who is obsessed with Zootopia. We will be going to the party on the 13th. I'm fine with getting in line early and just waiting. Where do Nick and Judy meet?

Over in Tomorrowland next to where Buzz Lightyear usually meets. If you don't know where that is it is between Buzz Lightyear's ride and Carousel of Progress against the wall.
