Liberty Tree Menu Is Changing This Week

If someone goes for lunch soon, can you please ask if they'll let adults order the pot roast off the kid's menu? Especially if we're willing to pay an adult sized price instead?

I know that this isn't normally a problem at WDW restraints, but since they just removed it from the adult menu, I don't know what to think this time....sniff sniff!

For anyone who is eaten at LTT with the new menu and with the dining plan, can some members of your party order a la carte and some order the AYCTE on DDP? It says "served family style" on the menu, so I'm concerned if one of us orders it, they will make all of us order it.
They have a similar set up at Whispering Canyon. Each person orders what they want. They do ask that you don't share the AYCTE with those that haven't ordered it.

I'm actually excited about this. I'm not a huge fan of thanksgiving food, but my DH loves it so it's right up our alley. I can have a burger and toffee cake and he can have the platter.
Esto! I like Thanksgiving food on Thanksgiving but I'm not searching for it as a theme park meal!

My daughter won't go now that they got rid of the pot roast. My colony salad is now with salmon. I guess that is okay. Well, less people eating there now in my family.

So upset about this. My DH's and my favorite lunch at WDW is LTT. We split the corn fritters, turkey/dressing, and ooey-gooey toffee cake. They even put the turkey/dressing on two separate plates for us. This meal for two costs not much more than the AYCTE option now for one. We don't like to eat that much for lunch. And I'm not interested in going for dinner unless they serve the ooey-gooey toffee cake. We won't be back until next October. Hopefully, they will have it changed back by then!

You may just plan on seeing if you can order 2 kids turkey meals. I plan asking when we go next month. I'll try to report back. I don't care to eat that large of a meal at lunch either.

Okay, I sent my email with feedback about the new changes. Going to be searching daily for another option for December. Hopefully, something will pop up soon.

Sitting here now and so disappointed. No fish & chips, no pilgrims feast. Last trip here for us

I did the same thing, Dis703! Sent them an email and got a generic response back, "we will forward your concerns to the appropriate...blah,blah, blah" But at least they replied something. We have cancelled our adr for Feb, and will pick another restaurant, probably Kona.
It's a shame that they had to mess with this quaint, affordable, delicious menu and restaurant. It was always our favorite restaurant in the MK, but now we will find something else. It's not that the menu is so bad, but it's that Disney has to dumb down things to fit into their dining plans instead of leaving a jewel like LTT alone. Hopefully, the emails and calls to WDW will have some good results?

I mean, the a la carte menu essentially only has three options now -- a pasta (with either shrimp or chicken), a salad with salmon, and a burger. They've removed the pot roast platter, turkey platter, veggie sandwich, Liberty Boys sandwich (slow roasted pork), and the fish and chips. So, based on the online menu, I'd say the a la carte menu changed quite a bit!

Previously, our group had several wonderful meals at this restaurant. So when we got the hankering last Wednesday and I saw there were reservations available, they asked me to book it.

What a shock when we sat down! The menu was gutted and left to die... no interest in the glutton plate, pasta is a junk food, the salad is a no-go with seafood, so that left us with burgers.

Literally the worst meal we had all week. $100 for four burgers and two sides (dip and fritters, fritters were tasteless). I waited until we were outside to say, "well, if we were just going to have bland burgers, we could have gone to Pecos Bill's and saved a bunch of money." I should have taken the $10 reservation penalty and walked out.

Never again, this place is totally off the list.

Well, our Christmas Day lunch at LTT will now be a CS at MK (if we want to have burgers, might as well just go to Cosmic Ray's and save some cash). I've booked dinner at 50's PT which will now mean we'll have to park hop on one of the busiest days of the year as I can't get anything else booked at MK at such short notice. Grrrr!!!

I hope so too. The responses you get are generic, mostly because they can't have people going off script. However, I know that internally, guest feedback is absolutely read, passed around, and discussed in meetings. Especially well written, reasonable feedback. Disney is one of those companies that actually does care about feedback and surveys to a degree other businesses do not. Even though they don't publicly acknowledge it to the degree that many people would like.

That's my biggest gripe. This might be no big deal for people who do the dining plan, but this was one of the more affordable meal options for those who don't want to, or can't, do buffets and family style for every meal. If they did the all you can eat platter and left plenty of ala carte options it wouldn't be a big deal.

This and The Plaza were both great for that more affordable TS meal and I heard The Plaza is no longer taking ADRs for most of the day? I also asked them to clarify if that's still the case because when you are dining with complex food allergies an ADR is a must.

The Plaza takes ADRs for 11:00 AM - noon.

That's what I read. Too early for us for starters and then makes it way too hard to get now. Considering they have been getting rave reports for their food allergy accommodations of late this is such a huge bummer.

how was the dip? I was planning to do an app and dessert meal here and none of that has changed, I was glad to pick up the ADR. The fritters have gotten some good reviews lately too, I wonder if they changed the recipe or just an off day.

BTW I don't think burgers and fries are any less junk food than pasta with veggies and lean proteins but that's just me ;) Just trying to determine if the food has really gone downhill or if people are just ticked about the reduction in a la carte choices in the menu (I understand why people are ticked but for me there are still plenty of choices I'd like). It would very likely ruin my meal to have that unpleasant surprise after I was looking forward to something different.
