We dropped our kids off, ate dinner and walked right in to the grotto at about 7 pm this past Sunday and had no wait.

Walk to TTC and take the ferry. It will start running around 7:00.

Thanks, I saw that. We just booked last minute and assumed this was probably booked. I was surprised to see this was not at the Polynesian. I was just wondering if there was anything else going on. Thank you!

Now that the temporary fences are up are people being allowed to watch fireworks from the beach again..?

I think cameras aimed at the bungalows themselves feels like a bit much. Those are pretty close quarters and would seem pretty intrusive to me. Maybe a camera on something like the roof edge of the bungalow aimed at the deck portion?? Not sure what the right answer is, but if there are cameras aimed in at those bungalows, I wouldn't want to stay there. And I assume they'd have to disclose that -- I assume they do at AKL?

This is disclosed at AKL. I can't remember the exact verbiage, but it's clear that the balcony is under surveillance. If you keep the curtains open, I assume they might be able to see into the room.
