Sorry didn't read all 28 pages but have a question. Can I get in with just the one ticket to the party or do they also require a daily MK ticket too?

You can't if the party ticket and the park ticket are assigned to the same person on the same MDE. However, you can make a fake (phantom) person on the MDE, reassign the party ticket to that phantom, and make separate FP+'s for another park.

You can get in to MK at 4:00 with just your party ticket. You do NOT need a day ticket as well unless you want to enter prior to 4 pm.

Sorry, I don't have time to look through the whole thread. We are staying offsite before our cruise, and thinking of doing the MVMCP only. Would having magic bands make things any easier at the party or does it not matter?

It really shouldn't matter. We used print-at-home tickets last year. Once they scan your tickets and give you the party wristband, you really don't need them again.

I think one benefit during the party would be for photo purposes. A Magic Band will automatically link ride photos and all other photos from your party to a single account. Otherwise, you can use photopass cards for those purposes.

I saw a post that said Nov 15 party will be less crowded then the Nov 13 Sunday xmas party. We are going on the 13th which is a Sunday so we don't use a regular day ticket and we are planning on going to sea world earlier that day before the party. Will then15th be that much less crowded then then13th party??

Woohoo! Purchased my SW flight this morning (that was kind of a headache, and a VERY long phone call) but now we are officially going!! I love the feeling after we have our flight booked! I can't wait for this trip! Now to wait on the candlelight info...

Yes, except do them from 3:30-6:30.

We booked with SW yesterday too! Had very strange experience.........while caught in traffic on the way to work I found via the SW iPhone app that November flights were available............and with great pricing from Newark NJ/Philly. Cause of the driving I needed to get to my office to make the purchase. When I logged in at work.............the flights and the pricing (by a lot) I had noticed on the app were NOT showing up on the SW site I was flabbergasted. I had to make my purchases via the app.........while not being ideal..........it worked! I was able to get RT tickets for $270/per for my wife and I! Now were flying out of Newark and returning into Philly..(both non-stop)... So my son is going to be driving the NJ Turnpike

Question, I think I know the answer, but I need my Dis pals to make me feel better You CAN still get in at 4, correct? We got our tickets in the mail on Friday (WOOT!) And it said entrance at 7 in bolded letters. Just wanted to confirm it was indeed still 4.

LOl I panicked too when I saw that cause I'm counting on getting in at 4. I went back and looked at my ticket from last year and it said the same thing about 7 pm in bolded letters. and I know I picked up my wristband at 4 last year so we I think we're good!

Nice! We had issues with our travel funds - we have $160 in travel funds from getting a lower price on our flight for DL coming up - woohoo! It was a nightmare getting them applied!!! We had to call customer service and so some fancy workarounds - but the girl was so nice! She even noticed that DH's birthday was the day after takeoff and asked if we were doing something fun for his birthday. I told her a Disney Christmas party and she said that sounds like the greatest thing ever! We were able to get $190 per person (each way) out of Omaha! Pretty excited! We were expecting a much higher rate since it was so close to Christmas! Now I just have to hope we don't get snowed out!

We like MK on party days because it is less crowded! We are going the same time as you and still debating! You could always book a 6:45 ADR, then right after watch the fireworks from somewhere right outside of the park? Or take the Monorail to the Poly Beach? We leave later that day so we won't have that issue but we like to end at MK too and just don't know if we want to pay the price of the party tickets!

Yes. The consensus seems to be to book your three FP+ back-to-back-to-back, starting at 3:30pm with your party ticket. MDE just sees that you have a valid ticket medium that is eligible for FP+. Technically, you could schedule an FP+ for noon. You wouldn't be able to use it but technically you could schedule it.

Out of curiosity, what time do you land on your arrival day? I have also scheduled a party on our arrival day. We land at 1:04pm at MCO and hope to be able to take DME to check-in at POFQ and then head to MK for the 4pm entry into the park. I don't know if my timeline is too aggressive, but I'm hopeful.
