Im so confident that this will be coming to a close I created a ROL Lounge thread on the Community Board, just in case we wanted to pop in every once in awhile

This is in prep for the withdrawal many of us will feel after the much anticipated announcement of FP+ and dining packages around Rivers of Light finally comes to fruition. That "Monster Thread" 400+ pages about "nothing" in 5 weeks was so much fun I thought we could keep up the support group for crazy planners.

Discussion topics can include tips, questions about attractions, updates on school work babies gators Maggie etc. And just about anything about all of us neurotic planners are fretting over.

This is a just for fun spot for those "Loungers" and anybody else that found a nice thread where it didn't spin into snipping and name calling (except at DPB).

Can't imagine it to be as active as that other thread but thought it might be a nice spot to drop into every once in awhile.

Now off to watch rumors about Norway!

I love the idea but maybe a bit premature? Depending on what happens tomorrow this page could consume the entire DIS board.

Going May 2nd-May 7th. Animal kingdom day is May 6th. Putting a hard deadline on this. If they don't have times or Fast Passes by end of day April 8th, I'm just going to book a Wave Reservation and enjoy that place for Dinner on May 6th.

Another person briefly de-lurking for roll call - my AKL day is 5/6 (staying at POFQ). I've pretty much decided RoL will wait for my next trip because I don't think I'll be able to deal with the madhouse, but still enjoying the show in here!

That is EXACTLY why... I've been sworn to secrecy, and I've really been trying to keep things under wraps, but I'm really a central feature in the new Animal Kingdom, Rivers of Light Show...it's really quite magical! (sssshhh, I'm also dressed like a Shaman!)

Speaking of shirts, I found one last week when I was out shopping. Simple, light and perfect for Disney! Needless to say they didn't have it in my size. I just got 2 in today's mail one in black and one in white

Long time lurker just wanting to say hi ahead of the reservation madness tomorrow (hopefully)! We are going to Disney April-20-25 with extended family (Me, DH, DSs (6, 4, 4), BIL, SIL, nephew 2 almost 3, and MIL & FIL) are planning to do AK as soon as we can get there from the airport. They are all happy to let me be the tour director which has its pros and cons. At this point I am not even hoping for ROL, I would just be happy with extended hours so we don't feel so rushed, we probably won't get to the park until 2.

I just hope I don't have to pre pay for the package if it's available tomorrow. My ds sent my phone swimming and I had to replace it this week. Clothes plus phones equals BROKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really like what I got for the trip so that almost makes it worth it. BTW don't tell my dh I went shopping. he doesn't understand that I NEED not want new summer clothes.
