Disney Dream 4 Night Bahamas Cruise May 29, 2017

OK... how is that for a start? LOL DH had bought me an embroidery machine that had the Disney stuff on it and we purchased other Disney things for the machine. I tried to thread the needle and couldn't even see the needle, much less the eye to thread. So he threaded it... then he got carried away. The man made that fish extender and made them for the other 3 cabins we had with us in our group.

I just about can't stand it... is it 2017 yet???

That sounds super cool that he made those!! I know what you mean, I am so ready for this cruise! But at the same time I can wait for it because in order for the cruise to get here, my DD has to graduate high school and Im not ready for that step in life!!

All the pictures are super duper cute! I love the idea of the powder and paint brush to get the sand off of you before you leave the beach!
It seems people put alot of thought and energy into making special gifts for their fellow cruisers! I love to give gifts so this idea is straight up my alley!!

yes...that's the tops of 2 of them. The Wilson's are us... the Bonnie and Derek was for our pastor from back home and his wife who sailed with us. They won't be coming this time.

We went to a birthday party yesterday and another couple that will be sailing with us was there as well. We love the parents of the birthday boy to bits and I casually asked "So, whatcha doing May-June...2017?" LOL.. Good grannys gravy they booked their stateroom this morning down the hall from ours!!! They are coming over this Saturday to start working on our tolerance for alcohol and food.. lol.. and to dish about the cruise.. I can't believe how quickly they signed up. This is going to be a hoot and a half! OH...and the things she made for her ds's birthday party. Nerf party... had nail bags with NERF on them to hold their ammo, goggles, the works. She even made the cakes..yes 2 of them! I want to be her when I grow up. lol

OK.. so it seems there is a hotel near Atlantis that you can book a room at so you can have access to Atlantis water park instead of paying the outrageous fees for the water park. Can't for the life of me remember what the name of the place was. Any ideas? I've got a folder going.. lol

Question....Are there any perks to being a DVC member on the cruise? On our last one there was a meet and greet and they gave us hats and lanyards and doodads. Wondered if they still did that?

Nope. This is actually our first disney vacation

Oh my goodness!!! Won't be long until you too are an addict. And frankly, if you've got to be addicted to something...........this is the thing to be addicted to!!!!! This is doing to sound nuts... we moved to Florida because the drive to Disney World was killing us. lol. We would go for 10 days at a time and it was quite pricey. DH wanted to buy into DVC but I just flat out didn't want to! Then he and I both got ill... spent the entire vacation in walk in clinics and emergency rooms and I gave in. Best money we ever spent. We could be walking, talking billboards for DVC.. lol This is only our second cruise, but I think that's about to change. As far as we are concerned the price is nominal. Reason being ....instead of it being for 4 days, it's ending up being a 15 month vacation. We talk about it every day. We make lists for it every day. It keeps the doldrums away..............especially during... ::::::::::::::::::WARNING WARNING UGLY WORDS AHEAD::::::::::::::::: Tax time. lol

LOL that is too funny and I can totally relate! DH and I talk about the cruise nightly and my poor Pintrest account is full of searches about everything disney cruises and fe's!!

It's so exciting that there is actually a thread for a cruise over a year out. I can't wait!
My name is Julie, and I'll be going on our first, and probably just once in a lifetime family trip next year with my husband and 3 boys (8,6,6) that includes this cruise. We've never cruised before, but I have been reading about FEs and everything else I could find about the Dream for at least a year. I'm so glad to be a part of this group!
