"Official" Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2015 Thread - Rockin' Around the Cinderella Castle!

I am a little confused about the ticket thing. We have 3 day PH tickets and our MVMCP tickets, all linked in my MDE account, and I have been able to make 4 days of FP+, so all's good in that respect. However... when I bought the MVMCP tickets, I chose the "print at home" option and have paper tickets w/a bar code. Do I have to trade those in for hard tickets, can I use the paper tickets to get into the party, or will I just need my magic band? We are not going to a park that day- we'll have a "down day" then enter MK at 4pm.

I also did print at home and linked to my magic band. There are ways to use your magic band but basically everyone says if you want to be safe and assure that a normal park day admission is not accidentally used the safest option will be to bring in the print at home tickets and use those to enter the parks. On my ticket it says 1 2 3 on the front page and states that you can bring it directly to the entrance turnstile. I plan on bringing my ticket just in case the magic band doesn't work for some reason.

I have a question about Be Our Guest Dinner on a party night. If someone has a reservation for 9:25PM and fireworks are at 9:30PM can we check in at 9:40PM? Will they close check in at 9:30pm?

I was able to successfully call and have our tickets changed, we will now be attending on Dec. 4th. I realize it will be busier but it works better for what we want to do that weekend.

I don't want to lead you wrong but I think that may be cutting it close. I've heard of Disney having a 15 minute grace period but I have no idea if that's always the case, and I am going to my first party on 12/10 so I'm especially not sure how it works then. I feel like this is not a helpful post haha but I just wanted to say that in general what I've read here is there is usually a 15 minute grace period for ADRs. Hopefully someone else will have a more concrete answer regarding this specific type of situation. BOG dinner is so fun too!

I didn't know you could do that. We have ours on the 17 th and I would rather do it on the 19th. Heard the 17 th could be real crowded.

My other question is I got a BOG reservation at 7:40 on our party night and I am so so torn. We've all always wanted to eat there, but I am afraid I won't get out in time to be able to see wishes at 9:30. Any advice? I can't decide.

I've read on these boards that the rule of thumb is to allow 90 minutes for TS restaurants, so I'm optimistic that you'd be able to see 9:30 fireworks. (I have 7:45 BOG for the 11/15 party - I'm in the same boat.) If any more experienced DISers have insight I would love to hear it.

I am thinking of going to the 1st party with my 1 year old but want to wait until my credit card statement carries over on the 25th so that I can use disney dollars to pay for it! Is there a good chance it will sell out in the next 12 days?

I am super excited to be able to say that I am now attending the 12/13 party!!! I am getting a very last minute (for us) trip down for 2nights/3 days to hit the party and go to Hollywood Studios to see the last year of the lights! My honey loves me cause we were just at the end of September for MNSSHP and F&W festival for 10 days! I know I am super lucky. We are getting to have a girls weekend so it is five adults and we are going to have a blast. I'm hoping for the one day MM to be available so that we don't have to buy the full one for just two days.

Hollywood Studios is closed for a CM party so more people will be at the 17 th party than usual. I thought it was a good choice until I read that. I'm sure it will be fine. But I bet the 19th will be better.

Yes, it does. Last year, the first party (11/7) sold out on 10/24.

I'm so excited, our tickets just came in the mail yesterday! I thought they would be themed tickets instead of the regular green plastic ones, but that's okay by me! Now to keep them attached to the letter so I don't accidentally mix everything up

Where did you find out this info. I can't find it anywhere. The 13th is our first day and a MK. If I need to switch things around I need to do it now while I can.
