EXPIRED: Part ONE of 2015 CLUB LEVEL (CL) INFORMATION and HELP Thread DO NOT POST HERE!!!

Just booked WL CL to celebrate our 30th anniversary! :lovestruc We have stayed at the WL & VWL numerous times (it's our home resort)... Really looking forward to CL there! The only other CL I have experienced is AKL.

I have a few questions: are king beds available in the standard rooms? Are all the CL rooms located on the 7th floor? Are there any CL rooms with unobstructed balcony views?

I don't know much :rolleyes1 but I do believe the only CL rooms that are not on the 7th floor are the deluxe room (and that's only because that's what i will be staying in next month). I know someone with way more knowledge will be answer all your questions :worship:
Have a very wonderful 30th anniversary!:flower3:

Only a couple days left til I choose our fastpasses!!! :) The kids have 3 days of school left and then it's SUMMER!!! :beach:

I am soooooo ready for this trip I can't even tell you guys. :flower1:

I made mine yesterday! :yay: Except that I made a huge mistake.....when I originally ordered DH's and the kids' tickets (I have an AP), we were only staying for a week, so they have 7-day tix. When we added the extra 3 days, I never even thought about booking FPs. So, I could only book them for 7 days. Called WDW to see if I could upgrade the tickets over the phone, but that can't be done. I think we'll be fine as I got everything I wanted for 2 days at MK, 2 days at Epcot, 2 days at DHS and 1 day at AK. The other three days I'll just have to hope I can book once we check in. :scared:

Can't believe this is coming so fast! And the next month is going to fly by with DS graduating from high school! Just ordered his tux for prom, and sent out his party invites. I even have a sticker on my car for his college...this is becoming too real :faint:

it is the little things isn't it? It should be fine to book a week before. I hope for us that the last 3 days will be more relaxing and less standing in lines for rides! who knows tho... we'll be on VACATION! :dancer:

When my DH and I went (without kids) in February, our APs expired during our trip and we couldn't renew until we got there either. We were able to get FP. I doubt you'll be able to get mine train, but if I remember correctly, we still got good rides:) and it was really crowded! There aren't any slow times anymore, it seems. There were a ton of groups there the last week of Jan./ first week of Feb.

Thanks!!! I hope you have a wonderful trip and will share your experience with us.:goodvibes

Does anyone happen to know if there are any king beds in the Yacht Club lagoon view concierge category?

They do have connecting rooms in SL. The deluxe rooms in SL do not have connecting doors. If connecting is the most important request I would request, connecting with xfamily and/or list the reservation number. You could add and close to lounge, if you are not bothered by the idea of a room on the first floor that could be noisy.

Thanks for the information. I'm actually fine with 2 standard rooms if they are connected. Its just for sleeping that we have to split up the way we do (my father has some health issues and has to get up during the night and doesn't feel comfortable with other people in the room besides my mom). If we have connected rooms we can spread out during the day and I can even use their bathroom if I need. I think that will be my first request. Then, if connecting is not available I'll look for adjoining with one deluxe room.

ha.. Sorry, I meant that most everything is a secret, just not that dates, and where we'll be, CL is the secret...:-) (Same here with money - dh just thought Disney REALLY raised their prices! :rotfl:(and I did get that 30% off applied!))

I added WCC adr, and we have TS adr's for lunches, I figure we'll have leftovers to nibble on in the evening, or do QS at a park? Trying not to overplan - and there's no one to discuss it with!! :rotfl2:

I could be so way off!

I am in the same boat about having nobody to discuss my fun plans with (except my 'friends' on here of course). My DH knows about the trip but is leaving all the planning to me. He cannot stand planning anything months in advance, he thinks it's ridiculous! He can't get excited about a trip unless it's someplace new and then he'll want to research places he wants to see - and even then not 8 months in advance! Or he'll get excited the week before we leave. I'm definitely the planner!

I think it's great you're planning surprises for the trip! It'll be fun to watch everyone's reactions!

Hi all! We are heading back to BC CL in 51 days - July 14-25. This will be our third year in a row staying there. We can't wait to see the renovations to both the lounge and the rooms! Our family has become accustomed to vacationing CL. We had originally planned on staying at POR this year and when I told our 12 year old daughter we were going to be at POR she asked if POR had Club Level. When I told her no she asked, "is it a dump?" Ha! They were all thrilled when my husband made the executive decision to stay BC CL. :-)

Thanks Erika for maintaining this thread!

What is the AKL lounge like outside of the main food serving times? I have the dxdp so will be eating out most of the time, or in my room if I'm having a late start to the day, but outside of these times I tend to only spend a morning in the park each day and like to relax in the cl lounge during the afternoon before heading out to dinner, for my other resort cl stays the lounge has usually been quiet in the afternoon, I just wondered if AKL was similar?

This made me laugh so much, kids have no idea do they lol My father is completely the opposite, he stays high end resorts throughout Europe and has stayed cl at Disney but his all time favorite is POFQ/POR - the theming does it for him, he's totally immersed in the resort.

My kids are the same way...if we couldn't stay CL, they would rather just stay home:) We are driving to Disney for our trip (this week!) and I've already had to explain to them that in some small towns (like the ones we'll be stopping in), the nicest hotel may be a Fairfield Inn -lol. My kids need a serious reality check sometimes!

We stay over in Hamptons a lot when we drive so the free breakfast in the morning is like their "CL" Have a great trip!!!!

We've stayed at the Hampton Inn in Valdosta, GA before...it's pretty nice. It's not like we're staying there a week or something! We want to get further down the road on our departure day this time however so we're thinking about Marianna, FL... There are very few hotel choices there, plus my DH likes to stay in Marriotts to maintain his "status" with them. I hope You have a great time on your upcoming trip! It looks like our weather is going to be just as hot as yours based on the forecast!! We don't usually mess with the Disney fan misters in early June, but it looks like we may need them this time...heat indexes at 100 degrees or above!

Thanks! My DD11 is about to burst with excitement! She doesn't feel the pressure that I do to get all the laundry/packing done-lol! DH is going to Houston tomorrow so it is all on me!!

Good luck getting it all ready! It is a lot of pressure to get everything packed and I always clean the house before I go as well so we come back to a clean place...but I guess getting all that stress built up helps me relax that much more on vacation :rotfl:

We just got back and we stayed BC CL and it was packed with kids! Young kids and Toddlers running up and down the hall at 7:30 am ALONE! We couldn't believe it, one afternoon a little boy lined up all the sugar cubes on their table and the mom didn't notice (she was texting the entire time) so finally she scoops them up and carries handfuls back to the bowls!!! We mentioned to a cast member and she said those kids have been doing that to all the food all week. It's not a daycare, one family's kids were in front of the TV snacking most of the times we went in. We found the Solarium to be much quieter so spent more time there.
