I'm at Beach Club now, not Yacht - August 17-23!
I am staying until the 24th - thanks for adding me!
I have been secretly stalking this thread for awhile, but I am so happy to finally post that I've booked a stay for September 8-17 at the Beach Club in a garden view room. I am SO excited! My husband and I previously stayed at the BCV for 6 nights with one night at the BC in October 2011. I've been saving since then and now we will be returning with a 2 year old DD and 9 month DS. We will have other family meeting us down there, but will be spread out in different resorts. I'm sure I will be back to post a few questions. Thank you for all the info on page 1, it's fanatastic!
We are returning to BC after many years at GF and CR. All of our dates were not available for a last minute trip so we are splitting between GF and BC. Can anyone confirm if you can still use the door near 1501 to exit/enter towards IG ? If so, do you need your magic band to operate the door or a key card ? Thanks so much for your help.
Just popping in out of shear excitement! We just changed our December trip from a long weekend - to a week long vacation at Beach Club! We will be there from Dec. 26 - Jan. 2nd!! Can't wait to ring in the New Year there! Woohoo! Now, just to wait until this summer for our first official BC stay... and then follow it up 5 months later! SO excited!
Just booked a 1-bedroom at BCV for 5 nights, Oct. 26-31! It is part of a split stay, and our first three nights will be in a BLT 1-bedroom. We have stayed at the YC before, and really loved it. There is nothing better than the Epcot resort area. I have read a little about the BCV rehab, and I hope that most of it is completed by the time we are there, but I guess we will have to wait and see. Our son is turning 2 on Oct 20, so we are happy to have the 1-bedroom so we can have privacy while he sleeps. I will scour this thread and read anything I can on the DVC boards, but I would appreciate any suggestions about room requests and/or activities around the resort for a 2-year-old. Can't wait for our trip!!!

Got it. I'll make the change.
Captain's Grille at the YC has Mickey waffles. I think that you can also get them at Picabu's at the Swan.Where is the closest restaurant to get Mickey waffles besides the Cape May buffet?

I called IPO, they do have Mickey Waffles at Captain's GrilleThe menu from Captain's Grille does not show them on the buffet; perhaps, someone who has had the buffet, recently, can confirm.
For those who can't wait for the next trip, you can get a taste at home.

They do have the Mickey waffles on the buffet at Captain's Grille. They will also make gluten free Mickey waffles for you, too, if you can't eat the regular ones.Yup, on the menu to order, but not on the buffet listings.

Thanks Jay... I was diagnosed 20 years ago and have a pump and continuous glucose monitor. I have had some majr setbacks in the past 4 months so my dr and husband talked me into an alert service dog. The dog can already sense some things and we haven't even begun that training yet. God bless your daughter as well. Let your daughter know this disease does not have to hinder ANY of her dream. I was diagnosed at 17 and I still played college soccer, have my dream career and am extremely active in mountain bike racing. Never let her say she cant do it!
I'll add you to the list.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
