On a podcast I listened to today they did the whole thing on Paris. It's Called Extra Pack of Peanuts if anyone wants to go listen. Travis and his wife Heather are the hosts. They are great! They even talked about Heather buying her Louis Vuitton bag while they were there.

I agree 100%, if you have the time go.
I never regret the places I visit I only regret it when I don't go.

Has anyone see the currency exchange today? The Euro is at 1.159! This is the lowest I've seen it in years.

Haven't checked this week but I was tempted a couple of weeks ago to buy some euro's and stash them away for this trip. This is looking even better and I'm thinking the exchange rate may come down some more with the latest european financial news.

That's what it was at last month when I was in Europe. I know the banks want to make money on selling foreign currency but 6% is high to me. I wish they would charge 3%. Plus most banks also charge a $7.50 fee on top of the 6%.

Don't know how reliable it is, but gossip around the deposition table yesterday says the euro is due to be one for one with the dollar next week. That's what it was when I went to Paris after college. I would LURV that!

Looks like its at 1.074 right now (1/23/15) at BoA. However, they want 1.1981 for foreign currency exchange!!! That's quite a premium.

Excellent! I started looking for flights yesterday. It's a toss up as to where we leave from, TPA or MCO. There is a Lufthansa flight out of MCO in the late afternoon on the 15th with a change of planes in Frankfurt. I like the idea of flying overnight vs during the day. I have to do some more searching this weekend.

We're considering flying to London first. Virgin Atlantic flies non-stop from MCO to LHR.

We're not doing the add on this trip. We need to head home right after the cruise. Loved DLP when we went in 2011! You will all enjoy it so much!

Kim and I are not doing the add on trip either. We are leaving right after the cruise. We are going to DLP on the Friday and Saturday before the cruise though.

We're close to booking our flights but I have a question for those of you who have been to Disneyland Paris before. A few of the return flights were are looking at depart pretty early in the morning--between 6 and 7 am. I don't want to book those flights if that would mean we'd have to leave the night before. What kind of transportation is available from DLP to CDG airport?

Never done this before but advice from a seasoned fellow traveler, thats really early. It will take an hour to get from DLP CDG. Add to that the fact that CDG is huge and confusing quickly gets you to the point that it may be better to leave the night before.
